Very nice place - super clean, comfortable and has great value overall. Free snacks provided. I got a room upgrade and generally the service & communication were top notch. Highly recommended.

Adequate, but loud locks disturbed sleep.
The accommodation is all that I needed, for a one-night stay, prior to an early flight from Pisa Airport, which is only a five minute walk away. Check-in was rather clumsy, involving a phone call with someone with limited English, and a bit of hide-and-seek for the key. Once in, the room was all that was needed. However, the locking mechanism on the doors was ridiculously loud, and I was continually disturbed by other guests leaving and entering. That really requires some attention, as the majority of guests will be on one-night stopovers prior to flights, and a decent sleep would have been very welcome.

It has all the essentials you will need for a short stay and is incredibly close to the airport for an easy check in experience but offers little else in terms of comfort. Reasonable price, nice staff and good communication

Actually the room was fine and big. The person waited for us before check in to leave the lugagge But the toilette was end of coridor. Probably I was not clear with that. I would expecting brrakfast in the morning as B&B but was not. Disappinted for that

affordable and convenient
Very convenient and affordable airport stay - clean shared bathroom and comfortable mattress! Would stay again for the affordable price. No front desk staff so need to organise arrival on the phone with owner- not too difficult though

It was really noisy. No sound proofing between the floors and people upstairs sounded as if they were moving furniture all night. We were attended to by a very surly woman who did not seem at all happy to be there.

The place is clean, although shower was clogged and for being a shared bathroom I wasn’t very confortable. Beds are good and location is fine. Breakfast is soluble coffee and a piece of bread.

Convenient for airport, noise from other guests.
The apartments are not far from the airport in Pisa so other guests were up at various times through the night getting ready to leave to catch flights and their sounds travelled. If you are there to see Pisa, as I was, it would make more sense to book into somewhere closer to the city centre. Breakfast consisted of a mixed fruit juice, tea and coffee.

Extremely convenient for pisa airport
Simple 400 yd walk to terminal front door. Our room was a marble floor Spartan experience. But given our very early departure time ergo limited actual time in our room and with the price then no complaints. Do call in advance, day before, to agree arrival time.

Had to find another hotel
Our flight arrived 30 minutes late. The host called us to see if we were coming. I cofirmed that we were. We reached the address and nobody answered. We called over 20 times and were ignored with owner even turning the phone of so we could not contact. We had to find another hotel at 1am Very dissappointed

Handy B&B close to Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport
We needed a place close to the airport as our flight was early. Gate52 is reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. Staff member we met was very nice. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the airport.

Short night before early morning flight
Our stay here was fine. We were more worried about catching our early morning flight so we didn't sleep very well and could hear so many noises all night. I think it is probably normal, just we were so anxious. You get what you pay for. Great location to the airport, it's a 10 min walk. And it's also easy to walk to the train station. We took the bus to the leaning tower and walked home to the hotel. If you have an early flight, it's an affordable option.

Close to airport.
Arrived at gate 52 and rang the owner, after a few minutes we were showed are rooms, they were basic but clean, the bathrooms are shared but one was large enough for 2 people to use at the same time. I would recommend this b and b for anyone with a early flight who wants a day in pisa.

The hotel is not bad in terms of Location and facilities. But the girl who received us said that she would personally serve us the breakfast in our room in the morning; but we never saw her again, the only breakfast available was a half litter bottle of Orange juice, three pieces of bread and two K-Cups to make coffee.

The hotel is 10 min walk from the Pisa airport which is really convenient. The owner was very helpful and let us come and stay on a night different than initially booked (we messed up some dates) which was very kind of him. There was food waiting for us in the room. The place is basically a flat with a bathroom and few rooms so bear in mind you'll share it with other people. However, it's cozy and convenient and would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay if you have an early flight.

Nice hostel with a difficulty checking in
This is a hostel. Which means it is an apartment, close to the airport, in a nice neighborhood, in which you will have a room for yourself. The apartment was nice, clean, and smartly equipped. Which means it had pretty much everything you need, coffee, small breakfast, fridge, kitchen, etc. On the downside, we had a difficulty checking into the hostel. It occupies a floor in an apartment building. Upon our arrival, no one answered the door bell. No one answered the phone either. So we were stuck for a few good minutes, after which I started to press various buttons on the intercom desperately trying to get inside (we did not have any other reservation in Pisa for the night, and I know it sometimes is not easy to find one right away). A lady from an upper floor answered my buzz, and let me inside the building. But she was not the one from the hostel ! She only lived there. I got back downstairs, and was pretty much resigned (and angry too !) to leave and find a different hotel. All of the sudden two ladies materialized, and it turned out they were running the hostel. Ufff ! We were saved. From then on everything ran smoothly. They let us in. And the hostel turned out to be a nice inexpensive place to stay. There were some other guests, but they were so discreet, we hardly noticed they were there.

Stranded outside at 2am
We were looking forward to our stay at Gate 52, with our family of four small children. When our flight was delayed, I emailed ahead to the hotel, informing them of the delay. We landed around 1am, and by 2am we arrived at the door of Gate 52. No answer at the doorbell. No answer by telephone. I walked back to the airport to check my email. No message. After waiting more than half an hour, we found another hotel with an available room. I heard nothing from Gate 52 until the charge (at 100%) was billed to my credit card. When I contacted Gate 52 by email and explained the situation, Rocco responded that he waited 35 minutes after our flight had landed. When I asked for a refund, he said "the system bills in advance", and refused to refund. (Was it a "no-show" on our side or on his?) Now ten days later, all email contact has been lost, and I cannot reach them by phone. (The hotel number goes to the fax machine, and the one answering the cell number told me curtly that Rocco is on vacation for three weeks.) I wanted to talk to him in person before writing this review, but he hasn't given me the opportunity. The whole experience has been very frustrating. Fortunately, we found that there are good accommodations available on Via dell'Aeroporto in Pisa. However, Gate 52 is not one of them!

Great B&B in Pisa
10 min walking from the Pisa airport. Pisa tower is 15 min by bus. We stayed there to catch flight at 7 am. It was clean and service was good. It was nice hotel overall.

Cramped bed and breakfast. Bathrooms where shared and very small. Offered only a mini fridge for four or five rooms. Had other guest take our stuff out of it without permission. Neighborhood was peaceful.

Worst hotel on my Italian trip.
There are only two positive thing about about the hotel and there are that it is clean and that it is 5 minutes walking distance from Pisa airport, other than that there is nothing positive about this hotel. Now all the stuff that I did not enjoy ; I had a sleepless night at Gate 55, this due to the combination of it being too hot, as the room did not have an AC and the other being the fact that the walls are paper thin, I could hear every thing that was happing around me. The mattress itself was very uncomfortable and it's not a double bed as advertised. lol It was two single beds side by side. The breakfast is also off very poor quality as they are just packaged dry snacks, two mini sweets and 2 cheap coffee pads. The caretaker of the hotel needs to learn to speak a little softly and be less rude. There is no 24 hour reception, as there was no one present when we arrived at the hotel. and to end my review the hotel do not have a lift, this can be an issue as the hotel itself is on the 3rd floor. Any one that is used to staying in good hotels and like good customer service might be disappointed.

Bed and breakfast with shared bathroom
walking distance from the airport and the train station was perfect for us. Great value for money - there are only 3 rooms in this bed and breakfast and the bathrooms were very clean for sharing.
