Nice Stay in Porto!
We stayed three nights at this hotel and overall we had a pleasant stay. Check in was quick and they have staff 24 hours. Rooms are outdated and small. The toilet lid was broken and internet service was very slow. Location is good because it is close to public transportation and close to a nice mall. There were nice cafeterias nearby but no restaurants. Busy street with a lot of traffic.

Hotel is conveniently located in a modern part of Porto, with easy access to public transport. Nice covered market nearby with plenty of food choices and a great patisserie next door. Hotel is not super fancy or luxurious, but it is excellent value for money. No complaints at all.

We have stayed at this hotel several times previously and enjoyed it but this time the room we were allocated had a tiny bathroom with a very restricted layout.

Nice hotel
Comfortable stay. Payable breakfast ok, but limited. Rooms tastefully decorated as is hotel in period design. Location although handy for shopping centres is out of the way from the centre and river Douro. Walkable though.

nice and very affordable hotel
nice small hotel and very affordable. Great location by Mercado de bom Sucesso plenty of foods to choose from. about 7 mins from the metro station. Defo recommend this hotel.

2 star hotel in inconvenient area…
This is an older hotel, small rooms with minimal insulation between walls…. Could hear those in next room & hallway when trying to sleep. The shower was “ok”—not a lot of water pressure. The room was small-not a lot of room for suitcases. Breakfast was minimal… not enough food options. Not in a good location-NOT conveniently walkable. The staff however, was nice & friendly.

Old fashion (UK standard) hotel, however room was clean and comfortable and met my needs for a one night stay. 5 - 10 minutes on the bus to get into city centre and 5 minute walk to the Metro. If you are after a clean room at a competitive price then I would recommend the hotel, but not expect anything fancy.

It was nice and quiet and also very convenient with bus and metro close by and a shopping mall very close. I was quite happy with the hotel and would stay here again

It is a very good clean hotel, located in special area, near to public transportation. The drawback in it that: there is no refrigerator or kettle in the room.

I don't know if its the app or the hotel's fault, but I wasn't properly informed that my credit card got rejected and my booking was cancelled. Went into the hotel and there was no room for us. We have to look for another place to stay.

Great value, location and staff
Staff was amazing, very helpful. We were 10 minutes from the metro station which we took from the airport. very easy. We were a 20 to 30 minute walk from the historic area where we were able to get a walking tour and hop on hop off bus. The hop on hop off bus actually stopped 10 minute walk from our hotel also. There was local buses right near our hotel also and the metro was right there too. I would definitely stay there again.

Water had very low pressure, sometimes took over 5 minutes to start running warm, room had a slight smoke smell, WiFi is useless as they tamper with the connections and couldn’t even connect to my banks, only good thing was the friendly staff but that doesn’t make up for all the bad ones... Will NOT stay there again!

Friendly, cost effective stay.
I really liked this hotel. It's down the road from Casa Musica metro station which I caught to get back to the airport. My room was cleaned daily and on one day when I was sick and the housemaids couldn't come in, they checked with the receptionist and had him ring to make sure everything was OK as they couldn't understand my English. There's a supermarket nearby on the lower floor of a shopping centre and you can catch the tourist bus close to the hotel.

Very close to the bus stop which is really convenient. The hotel is a bit old style but still comfortable. Tey provided extra blanket but i think it needs a good wash because i woke up with sniffles, i am allergic to dust so i think its from the blanket as i woke up from 2 nights with allergies.. but the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Room is clean and has balcony which is cool~

No-frills hotel, but clean and handy to metro stations. lots of cafes and parks nearby. my room was dated but clean and functional. Staff were nice and efficient. grocery store and food court are within 3 minute walk out back. good wifi.

Hotel Vice Rei Porto
We stayed for 10 nights at this hotel Good location near Porto’s Casa de Misic public transport bus and metro nearby. Staff friendly and most helpful in giving directions to city’s attractions. All in all good value. The hotel is 2 star and is an older type hotel but satisfied our needs as we were there to explore the wonderful city of Porto

Value for money and good standard
We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer all the questions. They speak very good English so no sign language required :P (As it happens in many places) The room was cleaned every day with change of towels and supply of toiletries. Hotel is close to the metro station and plenty of bus stops in all directions right behind it. There is a supermarket around the corner and pharmacy.
