"We loved our stay at El Cid in Puerto Morelos. Resort has so many different pools and atmospheres that there was always something for everyone. We lounged at different pools every day. Service for drinks around the pools was great too. Food was great, my adult kids loved the tacos in the Market restaurant and I loved the fresh Tuna bowls I had. Plenty of options for food. I would highly recommend the place."

"The place is great. The food, the pools, the room, the shows, the people are great. The beach was not as nice as other hotels I have been to in the Riviera Maya but it's not something I care about since my daughter enjoyed the pool all five days we were at this resort. I would go back to this resort in the future,, and I would recommend it to my family and friends. "

"Sometimes the service was slow, but not bad at all. The road to get there is long and very bumpy, not easy to get to town. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. "

"I stayed at the hideaway and it was an amazing time. The butlers were excellent and constantly made sure we were okay and didn’t need anything. There was construction going on in the hideaway area but it did not bother us. Overall we had a great time and i would definitely stay there again. "

"Pictures don’t do this resort justice, we stayed with our two children and my mother in law for a week and I wish we had another week as you genuinely feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The staff are all extremely professional and friendly, they will even remember you by name, the food was great, the resort itself was not too busy or crowded (even with weddings happening during our stay), and it was a perfect balance for family, or great for just adults as well. I will absolutely be going back. "

"This resort never disappoints us. The food is superb at every restaurant. The service is amazing, especially at the buffet for breakfast and lunch with Mardo and Archie. I highly recommend the resort. The only thing I did not like was the addition of the day beds by the pool area. It made it look messy, cluttered and less luxurious than what I remember without them. I would remove these. Similarily, the pool area has become very congested with loungers and the lounge pads need to be replaced. "
