The staff were polite and welcoming. Our room was quiet and comfortable with an excellent view of the harbour. However, the shower recess was quite small. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

It is definitely convenient to get picked up by any tours and bus to airport I did not get any upgrade nor drink voucher for this stay

I love that there are 2 stops (across and beside the hotel) where the tour buses pick up. It is so convenient. The hotel staff are all helpful and friendly. The room is spacious enough and clean. It is close to Hlemmur Food Hall and other dining options. Shopping is also close by. I don’t mind staying there again.

Stayed at the Foss Hotel Reyakjavik for three nights and had an excellent experience. It was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with no heat in the room when we first checked in and they immediately moved us to another room. The staff is very professional and friendly and answered all our questions including parking tips that told us where to park for the best possible rates. Loved Iceland and can't wait to return- would definitely come back to this hotel in a minute.

Excellent location from which to tour Reykjavik, the Golden Circle and South Coast. The hotel had three good restaurants including a beer garden and buffet restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel looked very impressive.

For a first trip to Iceland this was a perfect choice for a hotel. The hotel is situated perfectly in the middle of town and access to excursion. Bus trips is directly out the front door. Breakfast buffet was all encompassing Our stay could not have been better.

Perfect spot just close enough to walk to most things. Staff were very friendly and even accommodated us on Hogmanay for dinner even though they lost our reservation. Rooms have great views and wonderful bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms too.

We stayed at this hotel twice - at the beginning and end of our 4 day tour - so 3 nights in all. We loved the hotel. The location was great - 15 mins walk to the centre, 10 mins walk to the sea and 5 mins walk to the bus station with great pizzas. The staff were very welcoming and helped with recommendations for meals & northern lights! Best of all was our room. We had booked a family room and it was huge! Spacious and comfortable even with an extra bed. The breakfast was excellent (Iceland prices mind you!) and the bar downstairs was a really buzzy and friendly place to be. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a fantastic time at Fosshotel. Its prime location near numerous restaurants, coupled with an on-site dining option, made it incredibly convenient. The breakfast was delightful, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Property is a few streets over from the main shopping/restaurant area. It took us10min walk to get to this area but was very easy safe and quiet. Pickup for tours was right outside hotel (bus stop 12), but required a change at the main bus terminal if you are coming/going to airport with one of the airport shuttles- this is likely the case with most hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very nice and supportive. The room was clean and comfy. The beer house had great food and excellent service. The hotel is close to all the great spots downtown, but far enough away that you are out of the rush and noise. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very easily walkable into Reykjavik. This hotel is not in the heart of the city, but it was about a 5 minute walk into it. Was one of the tallest buildings so you could overlook the entire city which was beautiful. Food was delicious here

I found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, accommodating, loved the daily breakfast included and the bagged lunch the early morning we left. The staff was super nice and very helpful when grabbing a taxi and ideas on what to do locally and parking. Street parking around hotel was also super convenient.

This was, overall, a good place for our family of 4 to stay for two nights. Two things, however, made this feel less than excellent: on our last night (a Saturday night) there was a party being hosted a couple floors down from us in the restaurant. This included booming music, techno beats, and loud bass that we could hear several floors up in our room making it difficult to sleep. The other issue, which is likely to be expected in such a large hotel, was the breakfast situation with super long lines to get into the breakfast area due to tour groups having just arrived and being deposited directly into the breakfast line.
