Beautiful little hotel in the middle of it all. Easily walkable to rainbow street, the food hall, the harbor and other popular places downtown.
Parking in the garage near city hall is confusing, but not a responsibility of the hotel.
Great staff who was accessible whenever I had questions.
Really glad we found this hotel for our 4day trip exploring Iceland, the hotel was very clean, quiet and welcoming, the location was brilliant to explore Reykjavik with the bus stop for excursions pick-up/drop-off only a 2minute walk from the hotel, would definitely stay here again
Centrum means center and that's what this hotel is. You are .6 miles (1 km) from everything, shops, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.
The bathroom did have a little bit of a musty smell, but it wasn't too bad. The heated floors were great.
Garbage pick-up is on Mondays so the trucks outside can be a little noisy.
The staff are unbelievably helpful and welcoming. Everyone we encountered from the cleaning staff, front desk, bar and breakfast were outstanding, friendly and personable. The rooms are a great size, decent shower. The location couldn't be better for exploring Reykjavik.
Our room was quite small but that was fine. We had everything we needed. No extra charges for safe. Comfy and very quiet which was great as it is so central. We slept so well. Breakfast was excellent.
Thanks for a very good stay
The hotel is classic, well-decorated. The room is clean, tidy and spacious. The location is excellent, easy reach the famous spots and shopping.
The bathroom's size is OK but the shower area is too tiny, i am 5'8 and not huge, but i found it difficult to turn around in the shower area. I think the no. of sockets is not enough.
Great place to stay at if you’re planning on visiting Iceland and want to stay in Reykjavik! This hotel is super nice because it’s traditional but modern at the same time. The location is great, close/walkable to main places in town (e.g just less than 10 min walk to the Rainbow Street). You have plenty of supermarkets (which are open from very early until late at night) as well as many options for restaurants, bars etc. it’s also just a 2 min walk from Bus Stop #1 which is where you would stop to/from the airport as well as all excursions/tours you book (bus stop #1 is one of the main pick up points). Staff in this property is super nice and helpful, it was my mum’s bday and I asked them if it was possible to leave something in the room for when we arrive and they left a sweets platter with a nice happy bday message :) The room was nice, clean, bright and modern with enough space for everything. Beds super comfy too. Would definitely comeback if visiting Reykjavik again! :)
The hotel is spotless, the location is a 2 min walk to bus stop #1, is walkable to the harbor and all city attractions are within a 15 min walk. The staff at the front desk is AMAZING - they are knowledgable, welcoming, helpful and wonderful. The beds are super comfy, the rooms could use a couple more hooks for towels and robes.
A very nice and modern hotel with incredible service friendly staff who was doing a lot for me regarding booking to the blue lagoon and sky lagoon. Incredible impressive service on their end.
I really liked staying at this property it was ideal for convenience and near to everything, harbour, bus stops, restaurants. Hotel was very clean. Reception staff were helpful
Can’t recommend this enough. The staff is wonderful and so is the hotel. Location is impossible to beat.you can walk to everything and catch all the tour buses from about two minutes away at bud stop #1. We loved it!
On the oldest street in Reykjavik, so it is in the heart of the city. Breakfast buffet was substantial, so we only needed two meals day. We were able to walk to most of the main sights in the city, and there was an easy connection to Hwy 1 which goes all the way around the island, so it was east to drive to other locations.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect for easy access to bus stop 1, the walking streets, and the harbor. It was beautifully decorated for the winter holidays.
The stay here was quite nice. I will say that the evening front desk person was so incredibly helpful. They were eager to help clarify any questions and was a great representative for the hotel. By contrast however, the daytime front desk rep was...less than pleasant or helpful. For instance, while the nightime rep kindly offered to help clarify the tour meeting points by phoning - the daytime rep told me I could call from my room. Not very nice if you are looking for guidance for your stay in Reykjavik.
Friendly staff. Rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast buffet for an additional cost was good and had a nice variety. Easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The bus stop for excursion pick-up was one block away which was very convenient.
Perfect position to enjoy the wonders of Reykjavik. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Would highly recommend.

Dear Joseph,Thank you for writing us such a positive review! We are glad to hear you found our location, service and style to your liking. Hope to welcome you back some day.
A nice boutique hotel in a great location in downtown Reykjavik. Right in the heart of the town with everything walkable. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Room was exceedingly clean, and quite comfortable. We got the suite which was nice, except you need to know that the bedroom is up a narrow set of stairs, and the bathroom is on the main floor. So middle of the night runs to the bathroom are a little tricky, but we got used to it. Nice breakfast too.

Dear Peter,Thank you for taking the time to write us such a kind review. We are delighted to hear that our location, staff, breakfast and cleanliness were to your liking. All our Junior Suites are on two stories and might not be comfortable for all guests, I would suggest the Deluxe category if you ever come visit us again which we hope you do.

Dear Donald,Thank you for the 5 star review. We feel honored to be your favorite hotel in Reykjavík! If you are ever back in the city we hope you will stay with us again.
My stay at the hotel was acceptable. We reserved the most basic of rooms and our needs were met. The staff was wonderful as was breakfast.
I did not have a clean comforter upon arrival but it was replaced.
The neighborhood was great.
For travelers considering this hotel, I would recommend not having a vehicle. There’s a parking lot nearby that fills up quickly and the parking has a 3 hr limit so you need to keep feeding meter throughout the day (online will only let you pay for 3 hrs total in a day).
