Elevator was broken,so you are carrying your luggage up long flights of stairs. There was a man in the lobby who was a bit to much.... asking questions about us in German,which I understand. Telling his daughter to just shrug her shoulders.Breakfast was lovely. Place is very worn down, thread bare, but safe. You are not allowed in without a key.

Nice overnight stay
Very friendly staff, great breakfast, convenient gated parking area next to the hotel. Quite neighborhood near the train station.

Nice hotel
Convenient location, nice staff, solid range of breakfast options. I wouldn’t say the hotel was “beautiful” but it was clean and it served our purpose.

This hotel was not adequately staffed. Instead, I was notified on the day of check-in that a key would be left in a lockbox. Despite my effort to reach out for parking instructions, I received no reply and no help. I selected this hotel primarily because they offered covered parking in a city with complicated parking rules; however, I could only find street parking by permit. I was unable to have a restful night's sleep because I worried about my rental car being towed, tampered with, or ticketed. Also, the lift was broken and we were placed on the fourth floor which was difficult for my children. In the morning again there was no staff to check out with and the coffee machine only dispensed hot water. The property felt so isolated. My family and I were displeased and considered this hotel the worst hotel experience of our entire trip.

Classic hotel, convenient location
The hotel was well-positioned to sample the local businesses and was close to the central train station. Parking was available for a few but not offered upfront (street parking was offered, but there was nowhere to park). Another drawback was that the elevator (lift) was out of commission so we hauled our bags up and down 3 flights. That said, it was a classic old style hotel with a delightful kitchenette and balcony.

Overall a great stay. The service was minimal but efficient and friendly. The room was adequate and clean. The area was not the greatest but as long as I wasn’t alone I felt safe. Convenient to public transport, and we did find free street parking.

Pros - its in center snd walkable distance to train station and restaurants. Little walk to heidelberg palace. Cons - wr paid for breakfast buffet in expedia. However, we were told that its not paid and had to pay 9$/person/day. We had to come out of breakfast area and have a conversation on this. It was pathetic discussion and finally we gave up and left the area. Watchout if you are planning to have breakfast in this place.

Lovely staff, overall nice place to stay, well located. Let down very slightly by lack of coffee/tea facilities in rooms, would have preferred this option to the coffee machine in the lobby although the coffee was very good. A little basic but perfectly adequate!

The staff are very helpful and accommodating. This was my second stay and I would go again -- it's hard to find a better place in this price range close to the train station. Easy in, easy out. Groceries near by.

欧州で泊まったホテルで一番印象が良くない
ハイデルベルグ中央駅からすぐ近くのロケーションは良いが、冬の時期なのに部屋には冷暖房設備が無いため、部屋で凄く寒い思いをしました（夏だと凄く暑い思いをすると思う）。また、シャワーも熱いお湯が出ず、更に寒い思いをしました。欧州在住で欧州各地に出掛けますが、これまでのホテルで一番良くなかったイメージです。

1- they said they don’t allow check in after 9pm, they allowed me to check in eventually but acting like they were doing a big favor to me! They were absolutely rude! I checked expedia and it didn’t say anything about check in before 9pm! I booked the hotel at 9:07pm and checked in at 9:30 2- Expedia was offering breakfast buffet for a fee for this hotel while they don’t offer it at all because of Covid! Horrible experience 3- rooms are old and beds were not comfortable

You get what you pay for. This hotel is not centrally located to any of the attractions in Heidelberg. It is close to the main rail station but that is about it. It was clean but in desperate need of updates. We would not stay here again.

Excellent option for this price point! Everything was very clean, and the rooms are simple but have been recently remodeled. The bathroom in the room was also very nice. Lovely person working at the front desk too, a very kind welcome. Plus the location is right by the main train station, which is ideal for "passing through" travel. (If you're in Heidelberg for tourism, it may be a bit far away from the old town.) I will definitely be staying here again the next time I pass through Heidelberg. Thank you!

The stay was nice. The hotel is a little bit funny as it looks very outdated in the reception and the hallways. The room was however nice had been recently renovated. Clean and comfortable. athe bathroom was nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and was very satisfied.
