Staff was great, room just ok. The shower head was broke and the beds were hard. WiFI WAS NOT GOOD. I quess the lobby had good wifi connection but I would rather be in the convienice of my room as I am conducting business and am lazy.

"Great location!"
We stayed for three nights and really liked the location. The entrance to the building is fairly discreet, in the entrance to a Baptist church, with perhaps the city's smallest lift, but we thought it had a real charm! The room was comfortable and had a hairdryer, safe and a/c. Our balcony overlooked the square so it was great opening the windows and soaking up the atmosphere below. The Spanish Steps are an easy walk; and if you're a fan of walking the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Villa Borghese are a little further afield, but also still in walking distance of the accommodation. As with most hotels you can't do much about other guests, so hearing those in an adjacent room talking loudly at 3am one morning, and snoring so loudly at 4am the next morning it was like they were in bed next to us, was our only negative! The staff were also really polite and helpful. But the real gem is Rome itself, so we spent most of our time exploring the stunningly beautiful city.

"1st Time In Rome and Artemide Was The Right Choice"
After searching online and reading six months of Trip Advisor reviews we settled on the Hotel Artemide and weren't sorry. Wife and I were travelling to visit our daughter who's studying in Rome this college semester. Artemide staff previously arranged a black car pickup from FCO and driver was waiting when we arrived. Due to overnite flight from New York we arrived few hours before check in and our bags were held and we were offered to relax in a lounge area with coffee tea provided along with wifi access. Next days Breakfast buffet at the Artemide is incredible with so many choices for every taste. I had read about the staff walking the room offering in house made fresh mozzarella but when you have one of these almost baseball size goodies you'll be looking for them every morn. Also made in house are many fresh bread types. Try the bruschetti on fresh bread! Our only problem with the breakfast was that after we filled up someone would come to the table with freshly baked pasteries that we just had to try. Triple deluxe 6th flr room was comfortable with clean modern bath and included free mini bar stocked 2x a day. We had drinks in the roof top bar/rest with some limited views but very nice. We haven't mentioned any staff by name because it would b unfair to single out any one as the complete unit were the most pleasant people to interact with. They couldn't do enough, all you had to do was ask. I doubt we will return to Rome again but I would recommend Hotel Armetide to oth

"Close but not too close..."
The hotel is located very close to the sights but not so close that you are hearing the sounds of the city (street sweeper, garbage trucks, loud pedestrians late at night, etc.). Mechanical shutters on the window help to block sun and noise when sleeping. Service by the front desk/ concierge staff is cordial and efficient. Their recommendations for dinner are spot on. Rooms are good size with decent size bathrooms. Nespresso machines, fluffy robe and slippers in the room are a nice touch. Free Breakfast provided high caliber food and freshly made espresso drinks. Rooftop restaurant is a picturesque spot for drinks. (Didn't have dinner although menu looked good). Hotel is in a convenient location to walk the city. Walked to sights during the day and then dinner in Trestavere for dinner. Only used uber/lyft to early Vatican tour, to/from train station. Highly recommended and will stay again.

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was close to a lot of sights. Easily accessible to the Metro. I felt safe in the hotel and the area surrounding. I would stay there again.
