Charming cottage in Provence, private pool and garden

Typical Provencal house located on the outskirts of Salon de Provence in a very quiet residential area.
Private access from the entrance gate.
All rooms (3) are totally independent, each having its own bathroom and toilets. Pool (4X5 m) is totally private and child protected.
10 minutes walking distance from the city centre, the shops and the animation.
Salon is also perfectly well located in the heart of Provence at very fair distance from all the major touristic sites such as Aix, Marseille, Avignon and Arles + les Baux de Provence, the Alpilles, Luberon and Camargue.
The owner use to own a private 4 * hotel in the very nearby.
In high season, the rental can only be settled from Saturdays to Saturdays except specific request.
It is a perfect location well fitted for family and friends gathering.

Very clean, well maintained house on a perfect location (close to center of Salon and close to Arles, Avignon, Aix, seaside etc). Easy contact with the owner.

Beautiful large house with wonderful terrace. The house is very clean has a very well equipped kitchen and a wonderful terrace with a large desk to enjoy your meals and nice opportunities to relax. Patricia was very suportive. A small probelm we had was solved within one hour. THank you for that.

We were looking for a home with a swimming pool within walking distance to town and a short drive to interesting spots nearby. We couldn’t have found anything more perfect. Catherine has a beautifully appointed home that looks exactly as the photos! She made us fell so utterly welcome and had a terrific personalized guide of things to do. Merci a Catherine for everything. We will return again. A bientot.

This is a comfortable house, with multiple bedrooms, ideal for a large group. We were just the 2 of us.The house and kitchen are fully equipped, the garden area and small pool are very pleasant and the towncenter is just a short walk. It is very private.The interior is a bit dated, and on the dark side - but that may be our personal view..It is clear it was once a house where the owner/family lived. I have never seen so many comic strips/bandes dessinees, they must be fans! This house seems to be one of a number of original villas, that are now bordered by a newer area with modern, but attractive flats. It sits a bit isolated and you have to pass the property of the neighbours house after opening an automatic driveway gate with a code - which is not a problem. Parking and leaving the lot is a bit tricky, we often parked on the nearby street/square. Overall a very good vacation rental, with responsive and pleasant hosts. Paul

La maison est idĂ©alement situĂ©e, au cƓur d'un Ăźlot de verdure et toute proche (Ă  pied ) du centre ville. Beaucoup de charme dans ce mas spacieux et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© la piscine : se baigner chaque matin pour bien dĂ©buter la journĂ©e est un luxe pour des citadines ! Situation parfaite pour parcourir les alentours, les Alpilles, et mĂȘme Marseille oĂč il ne faut surtout pas rater les expos du Mucem. En conclusion, de trĂšs belles vacances !

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch liegt es sehr zentral, sodass man in kurzer Zeit die vielen Highlights der Provence besichtigen kann. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Avis global excellent. La maison correspond exactement Ă  la description. La propriĂ©tĂ© est top. Point de vue extĂ©rieur : - Piscine de bonne taille. Attention pour les petits, elle fait 1,60 m de profondeur partout. Par contre, elle est sĂ©curisĂ©e donc pas d'inquiĂ©tude. - Partie salon de jardin spacieuse et ombragĂ©e. - Partie table de repas sous une pergola de verdure trĂšs agrĂ©able. - Plancha Ă  disposition. Point de vue intĂ©rieur : - Maison spacieuse et bien agencĂ©e. - En famille ou entre amis, toute le monde peut avoir son intimitĂ© car chaque chambre est Ă©quipĂ©e de sa salle d'eau et de son wc. - Climatisation dans chaque chambre. - Equipement de cuisine ultra complet. Je n'avais, jusqu'Ă  maintenant, jamais trouvĂ© une cuisine aussi bien fournie. Emplacement : - Maison isolĂ©e des buildings aux alentours. La prĂ©sence des buildings et des routes proches peut faire peur, mais la maison est suffisamment isolĂ©e pour ne pas ĂȘtre gĂȘnĂ© par le bruit. - Le quartier proche est calme - L'accĂšs est sĂ©curisĂ© par deux portails. - Le centre historique de Salon est accessible Ă  pied. - Plusieurs centres commerciaux sont proches. - De belles villes sont accessibles en une heure de route maximum ( Arles, NĂźmes, Les baux de Provence, ...) et la plage est Ă  une demi-heure environ. Accueil / Contact : - Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis par Patricia, qui est d'une extrĂȘme gentillesse. Les explications sur l'utilisation de la maison sont claires et complĂštes. Elle reste Ă©galement disponible pendant la durĂ©e du sĂ©jour. - Contacts par courriels trĂšs cordiaux avec la propriĂ©taire qui rĂ©pond trĂšs rapidement. En rĂ©sumĂ©, le seul critĂšre pour lequel je ne mets pas cinq Ă©toiles est l'emplacement, car ça fait moins "vacances" lorsqu'on est dans le quartier de la maison. Par contre, une fois passĂ© le portail, on se retrouve dans un petit coin de paradis duquel on n'a mĂȘme pas envie de bouger :). Pour tout le reste, je ne vois pas comment ne pas ĂȘtre conquis. Je recommande pour : - Les familles ou amis qui cherchent un point central pour des visites dans cette partie de la France. - Les personnes qui ne veulent pas bouger et recherchent du calme.

Het huis was tiptop in orde en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patricia stond steeds klaar als we vragen hadden. Wij hebben een zeer aangename vakantie gehad. De locatie was erg rustig op wandelafstand (1 km) van het gezellige stadscentrum.

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen: Das Haus liegt zentral und doch sehr ruhig, in die Innenstadt sind es max. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Also: Rundum zu empfehlen! LG Heidi und Axel

Ein wirklich schönes und sehr privates provencealisches Haus fĂŒr eine grĂ¶ĂŸere Familie. Drei (fast vier) schöne Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem eigenen Bad lassen viele Möglichkeiten offen. Die einzige EinschrĂ€nkung war Patrischa, die wirklich anstrengende und neugierige HaushĂ€lterin, die die eigentliche Vermieterin aber wohl nur zeitweise vertritt. Salon ist ein nettes kleines StĂ€dtchen, nicht so touristisch wie die StĂ€dte der Umgebung, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Das Haus ist genau so wie es beschrieben ist. Es ist geschmackvoll innen und außen und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Es ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool wird immer wieder kontrolliert. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war direkt und unkompliziert. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Le nombre de piÚces à disposition (y compris sdb et clim individuelle) offrent des possibilités énormes pour se retirer, chacun a sa propre "bulle". La piscine privative est assez grande et l'aménagement extérieur est trÚs bien réflechit aussi. Seul bémol, eclairage intérieur et extérieur un peu juste mais bon, on avait le soleil :-) Sinon, l'annonce corresppond bien à la réalité et Patricia, la dame qui s'occupe de la maison, connaßt plein de bonnes adresses... Quelques mots sur les environs : voisins trÚs agréables, ville étonnament et bien active, citoyens tous trÚs aimables et courtois (pas du tout le cas partout ailleurs en Provence...), idéalement placé au milieu de pleins de points d'attractions. Bref, nous reviendrons :-) !

maison trÚs bien entretenue, trÚs agréable et bien située. Il convient de préciser que l'accÚs dans la piscine est assez délicat, la hauteur entre le sol et la premiÚre marche est trÚs important ainsi qu'entre la derniÚre marche et le fond de la piscine. la profondeur est constante : 1.6 M.

Wir waren im Winter dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Stadt. Hinter dem Haus ist der Kanal, der ĂŒber einen kleinen Fussweg erreichbar ist. Wir waren mit dem Rad dort und haben die NĂ€he zum Naturpark Les Alpilles, Val de Cuech und dem Meer sehr geschĂ€tzt. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, der Parkplatz am Haus und der schöne Innenhof mit Pool sind vor LĂ€rm und Blicken perfekt geschĂŒtzt. Catherine hat sich um alles professionell und nett gekĂŒmmert. Es war uns eine Freude! Herzlichen Dank.

La région est réellement superbe et chaque sentier, chaque localité fut un appel à la découverte de ce magnifique endroit. La Provence est splendide à observer et regorge de ressources qui raviront les amateurs de ballades à pied, à vélo, en voiture,..... des monuments exceptionnels, des endroits bucoliques qu'ils soient naturels ou façonnés par la main de l'homme et je soulignerai, des restaurants sympas. Chaque lieu est différent et nous en sommes partis avec pleins de belles images dans les yeux et dans nos portables. Notre location fut, également, une agréable surprise, telle que sur les photos et vous n'aurez aucune mauvaise surprise en vous y rendant, il vous suffira, juste, profiter pleinement de tout ce qu'elle vous offre, sa propreté, son agencement, son calme et sa chaleur de vivre. Un merci tout particulier à Catherine Bossard pour son accueil chaleureux et ses bonnes... adresses.
