Pleasant
The room was imaculately clean. Single beds un comfortable and walls paper thin i could hear everything in next rooms. A mini frudge would be nice. If you face the British bars as i did good luck sleeping with the noise all night long.

Better beds needed
Beds were awful. The only real negative. Great location. Food was good. Very clean hotel. Staff helpful and polite. Dix have a couple of childrens groups in the hotel the first couple of days which made it noisy and hard to get seated etc at mealtimes. Better bed and id go back in a heartbeat!

A poor tired hotel staff looked fed up the pool was dirty as in. Debris in the bottom which you could see from our 3floor room . The food. Breakfast was ok but the. Lunch and dinner whereawfull it was that bad we. Decided to eat out every night the room look tired and dated So spend a bit more and stay elsewhere. We would not recommend this hotel

Too many dinning.
The hotel was full of school groups which wasn't a problem but the meal times fir them should have been staggered the dinning room was full. We gave up and went to a local restaurant.

Horrible hotel
The receptionist service at check in was terrible. The service she gave me was terrible. I have no other words to say about how bad the service was. The door to the room wouldnt open because the receptionist forgot to activate the card. I paid more money on hotels.com than the actual price it was at the hotel I requested a queen or full bed when I paid for my hotel I’m advance and the bed I got was a twin bed for kids.

We are sorry about your perception of our reception service that does not coincide with that of most of our clients. Obviously, do not getting an On request service because is already fully booked, even reserving it same day as arriving could be frustating so we understand your opinion about not having a double bed and getting 2 single beds 1.90x.0.90 meters ( i'm not sure if that is a baby cott but i will look for the standard measures of your country kids before to comment it) We wish you a happy day Kind regards

Hotel fine but not great
Good location, lots of noise from bottle banks opposite our room in the morning and beds scraping on the tiles in nearby rooms. Food ok if a bit repetitive .

I did like everything, outside of the building is so nice, the swimming pool area is attractive, dinning area and food was lovely, the receptionist were so kind to help for anything, but the rooms condition and representation not very attractive, needs more improvement, sorting out those cracks on the walls and repainting, I'm saying this coz I'm a painter/decorator, I know it won't take long repainting the room, another thing needs service is the telephone calling taxi, was not working we had to drags our bags on the street to catch a taxi, is not good, apart from that we enjoyed, we will be back to see u r improvements for one more time, thank u

We stayed at Santa Monica Playa for 4 days, we had a very good time. The staff members are very friendly, the children enjoyed it very much. They had great childrens entertainment in the evenings. Charlie was absolutely fantastic, and energetic, the children loved his company. The swimming pool area is clean, and Tony the life guard was very good. We had the all inclusive package, the food was good, different options each day. Aswell as that they also had some Halal options, which was excellent . With the all inclusive we were able to have unlimited drinks and snacks anytime of day, which is great especially in the hot seasons. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel location is great, few minutes walk to the beach and centre. Also a bus from Reus Airport stops your right near the hotel, which saved us about €40 all together. This is a great location especially for families. Will definitely return.

Good value for money
The hotel itself was a little dated and also the rooms could do with an upgrade. I did find the beds comfortable and the shower nice and powerful which are the two main things for me. The breakfast was ok but the staff never seemed very happy. It was very close to the centre and beach although there was a hill to go down to get to them. I paid a very reasonable price so all in all I would say it's good value for money

Average hotel in a good spot. Clean but basic.
Reception staff were fantastic, bar staff not so much! Overall the hotel is clean and tidy but fairly basic. We stayed as a group of friends and it was ok, I wouldn't return as a couple or with the kids. Food was most definitely average, plenty of choice and enough to go around but after the first day we'd had enough. All inclusive was average, on arrival we were told wristbands go from 12pm on day of arrival to 12pm on day of departure which is fine. On departure day we went to get a drink at 11.45am and were told about 11 times they ran out at 12pm, fair enough but it was 11.45am..... eventually got said drinks but were told in no uncertain terms they would be our last. Went back for more drinks in the afternoon and each time told we were no longer AI and each time replied we had money and were trying to pay. Overall quite rude bar staff spoiled our break. Rooms were ok but basic and walls incredibly thin, it was ok for us as we were all together but I felt for our neighbours. All in all an ok hotel but I wouldn't rush back in a hurry.

Don't get put off with bad reviews

Good for the price
Overall a good hotel for the price. Rooms are basic, no fridge or kettle but comfy beds and good size does balcony. Very clean rooms and hotel Food was lovely, good choice but warm more so than hot Excellent pool facilities, bar staff friendly and the kids entertainer could not have been better! One big let down was the reception staff, the young were rude and made you feel like you were an inconvience checking in! Location was perfect, so central!

Nice basic value for money hotel near beach. Would rate higher if provided kettle in room and remote control for tv..problems with noise at ajacent apts with groups of singles till early hours often with police visits..

Not suitable for overnight rest stop
Booked for an overnight stop on our tour around Spain but a big mistake on my part. This hotel is fine if you are looking for a beach holiday with karaoke and partying until 3 am complete with fights outside but not if you want to get some sleep.

We stayed for a week, all inclusive, and it was lovely. It's not a particularly fancy place, but the food was good, the drinks were plentiful, the staff were friendly, and we had everything we needed. Its five minutes from the beach and the seaside shops. There were a few school trips which meant that there were occasional crowds of little ones, or teenagers, which could be a bit noisy, but that was okay. The staff were lovely. The only downside that I think I should mention is that when we checked in a woman in the lobby had just had her handbag stolen - and there isn't any real security to prevent random people coming in off the street and doing that, so you do have to keep any eye on your bag. Also there was no safe in the room, though we didn't have any problems with our belongings in the room. The food also had some reasonably healthy options, which was nice - I was worried I might end up living off chips. I'd go back there again for a simple, but nice holiday that was excellent value for money.

The conditions were okay but they could have been better and more accomadating to your customers. The man who was working the overnight shift on Sunday came banging on our room door at 3 in the morning, he also rang the phone 4 times and entered our room without our consent.. This is not acceptable.

Just the wrong weekend
From the rear you think it is deserted. Food was just ok, could do with a better chef. Room basic but adequate, perfect for a short stay. Bathroom well stocked but shower hand held. Best was the receptionist. Lovely person. Made us feel very welcome and wanted our business. Unfortunately there was a student break weekend on with hundreds of screaming teens in adjoining hotels. Nothing our hotel could do about it. Will return.

Have stayed here on previous occassions. Pool view is diffently the best view.Even though the Hotel is at the top of a hill it is one of the best for location to beach/shops/food.Uncle sams and olivers if you prefer english food are great. The hotel receptionists are lovely, the rooms are clean and bright however take your kettel and a hair dryer!!.A Good selection of food is available but we prefer to eat out. We are fussy eaters!! Would recommend getting the aerobus outside the airport it takes you to and from a pick up point near or to your hotel for 10.50euros, however dont panic when they are due to pick you up twice they have been late, up to 20mins but they always turn up and get you to the airport in plenty of time. A taxi will cost you 30euros.Top tip: Make sure your luggage is within your limit and your hand luggage fits into the size guides or it will cost you dear. 10kilos of hand luggage is allowed per person so take carrier bags for children to carry as an emergency if need be.we saw a family have to pay 150 euros because they were over and the children were not carrying any hand luggage.
