We arrived later than anticipated and the bar kitchen had already closed ... Claudia at the front desk found us information to have pizza delivered. But when we went to the bar, Martin and I believe John were so helpful when we told them we were looking for some dinner and knew of a mistake paid order of pizza that we gratefully accepted ... also very accommodating with information for shopping and tourist sites ... great place and would highly recommend. :) :)
Eight female friends stayed for a two night break. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the hotel was very clean, rooms well equipped, and breakfast was superb!
Only a short walk into Galway so perfect location too.
Stayed two nights. Room not overlarge but clean and comfortable and good front view of coast. Hospitable welcome from proprietor with useful tips of local eating and activities. Little on expensive side considering breakfast was an additional charge to room rate.

Fantastic stay, staff here great and very helpful. Apartments where very spacious and had all you would possibly need including a dishwasher and cooker. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. Oh and bonus they upgraded us to the penthouse which was awesome.
"Nice guesthouse in quieter area but close to city"
We were a but apprehensive as this was a last minute booking and some of the reviews were not favorable but we were pleasantly surprised. We were in a superior double and it was very comfortable with good views of the sea (we didn't find traffic noise a problem with open windows overnight).
A great place to walk to the beach and the city centre. It was nice to park our car there and never need it until we left. The inn is also on the bus route. The inn is lovely, the owners/staff friendly, and the food delicious. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept very well. Some rooms are upstairs and you will need to carry suitcases up them so you may want to request a room downstairs if that's a need. Great place for the price! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Southwest from Galway City, Salthill brings visitors to Galway Bay, where they can watch the Volvo Ocean Race in early July. Leisureland provides indoor aquatic activities and a performance hall for concerts and exhibitions. Much of Salthill's activity takes place on its seaside promenade, The Prom, and many of the restaurants and businesses along the prom offer views over the bay.
