HOrrible service!! Manager is the worst person I've ever met. Totally crazy. Could hear all the people next door and most guests were teenagers here for a tournament. Noisy . Everything costs money even a simple cup of coffee was $3!!! after you pay $350 for the room! no bottled water given just go in your room and shut up if you complain, they call the cops!! NUTS

Worst hotel ever . Have never been treated like this in my life at a place. Rude and ignorant staff. Could hear people stomping around upstairs and having relations in the next room . Small rooms , washer and dryer broken all for $350!/ a night . Expect to pay $3 for a cup of crappy coffee no flavored creamer . Go to other high end hotels that know how to treat guests and have free delicious breakfasts and for goodness sake coffee and water !!!

WORST HOTEL EVER. Awful staff and manager from HELL!!!!! I have never given a bad review but this deserves one. Rude staff who are all young in teens and don’t know how to do anything. No greeting no water even coffee was $3!!! And no creamer ! No breakfast . Small rooms paper thin walls. Staff DEMANDED payment before it was due and when I didn’t pay bc I was at work the manager had the SHERIFF call me!! All bc I complained about our $750 stay before for two nights . Couldn’t wash clothes broken equipment . The manager had an accent and was extremely rude. I called IHG and got 15,000 points to compensate me for my horrid experience. I am also seeking a FULL refund for my three night(mare) stay.

Overall I was pleased. I thought it was a bit goofy to have an exercise machine in the room but no safe, but maybe the demographic that they are targeting prefer that. My wife was less impressed, but I was pleased. It was $100 less per nite compared with other nearby hotels. While those were somewhat nicer, we mostly just slept at the hotel and spent most of the days and evenings with closeby family, so it was a reasonable trade off.

Hotel is nice, new building. Location is very comfortable, a lot of shops and restraunts around. But AC in hotel room was awful. Air was flowing direct bed and you cant change dorection fo flow, and it was noisy

Room smells like a sweaty gym locker. Maybe, just maybe, it’s because you put workout equipment IN THE ROOMS? Brilliant concept. Let’s put workout gear in a stuffy box and tell them it’s for their personal health. While the next guy has to breathe their perspiration aromas. Breakfast is not complimentary, expect to bring $20 min for basic options. I will say the AC is nice and cold and blows loud to drown out the slamming doors, but this unit, when it shuts off sounds like the showcase wheel on Price of Right. Dink-dink-dink-dink-dink…dink. I think the fan blade is hitting something metal on spin down. Works great for disrupting your deep REM sleep.

Great service!
Full breakfast with great service! Tucker was my server, he was responsive and courteous. Eleanora at the front desk was very kind and granted me a late checkout as I was having a Mom's Day away.

Worst Hotel EVER
The Even Hotel Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch was by far the worst hotel stay experience I have had in over 50 years of traveling. The front desk, particularly Bernice, was incapable of addressing issues with the room, promising a fix then failing to address the fact she could not carry through on the promise by failing to follow up with a call. She raised her voice to me screaming at me over the phone, refused to pick up the phone when I called back and failed to acknowledge me or work with me when I went down to the front desk. If you want a hotel where the front desk personnel cannot cope with guests’ concerns over noise from other guests (multiple rooms overcrowded with young boys and irresponsible adult ‘supervision’) and nonfunctional amenities (tvs that don’t work) and poor housekeeping (failure to clean room, make bed, and provide adequate resources like towels per person) then this is the hotel for you. However, if you expect value for your dollar, including an amenable and responsive staff, avoid this place at all costs!
