Magnificent and chill
For us, it was the perfect place to chill for a few days in the middle of a frenetic holiday. The house is gorgeous with a lovely bit of eccentricity in the interior space. The outdoor space has lots of sitting area and off the kitchen is a large table for eating in. The well stocked kitchen adds to that ease. And then there’s the pool and the gardens. Just a wonderful 3 days.

Beautifully cared for, the couple who own it are warm and always available to help. The property is brimming with character and great space for relaxing and entertaining. 🤩

This is indeed a beautiful venue with amazing vistas though no view of the sea. The villa is comfortable and the location though quite remote is within driving distance of several small cities and beaches. The washing machine did not work which was a disappointment.

Mixed feelings
Location is isolated, which we liked. View is spectaculair. House has nice and ample spaces, but is in need of some tlc. Lack of ac / fans is a definite flaw in Portuguese summers. We have doubts about the price-quality ratio in comparison to similar properties.

Un paradis !
Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cette magnifique maison. Nous étions 3 générations : grand-parents, parents et une adolescente. Nous sommes tous repartis avec une envie sincère de revenir ! Dés la réservation, nous avons eu toutes les informations dont nous avions besoin par Beatriz, qui avec patience et un grand professionnalisme nous a toujours renseigné avec justesse. Nous avons été accueillis avec du vin, pain, fromages, grande bouteille d'eau. Les lits étaient faits, nous avions des serviettes dans les salles de bains et des serviettes spécifiques pour chacun pour la piscine. La voiture était garée sur le terrain (portail électrique, sécurisé). C'est une maison avec une décoration soignée, très très agréable. On s'y sent bien immédiatement. La maison est entourée par une terrasse : le matin, petit déjeuner à l'est. A midi, déjeuner sur la terrasse centrale (barbecue à disposition ainsi que du charbon du bois), le soir apéro à l'ouest ou au bord de la piscine avec coucher de soleil en prime ;-) De la fenêtre de la cuisine, on peut apercevoir la mer (que par temps découvert par contre, ou au coucher de soleil, car le bleu de l'eau se confond avec le bleu du ciel si nuages / Brumes). L'eau de la piscine n'est pas chauffée, mais lorsqu'il fait chaud (et au Portugal c'est souvent le cas), après déjeuner elle est juste topissime. Nous sommes arrivés début mai : certains soirs, il y avait du vent et la température baissait --> nous avions à notre disposition des bûches et nous avons allumés sans difficulté la cheminée. Nous avons tous dormi comme des bébés : aucun bruit, le calme absolu, des volets qui occultaient totalement la lumière (et bien sécurisés). Il n'y a pas de voisins "juste à côté", les maisons voisines étant "éparpillées" dans les collines. C'est un environnement hyper reposant, au calme absolu, avec le soir les lumières des villes au loin. Le jardin est immense et clôturé. Nous avons tout aimé dans cette maison : la vue, la piscine, les chambres, la belle salle de séjour, la cheminée, la sérénité de ce lieu ... mais également les parties de ping-pong et de baby foot (à l'abri du soleil ou de la pluie), les promenades (vélos à disposition pour information). La plage est magnifique, grande et sauvage, mais le restaurant de plage O Mar était fermé début mai et il y avait beaucoup de vent (idéal pour les surfeurs par contre). C'est une adresse que nous recommandons vivement. Anabela et famille

Traumhafte Lage im Alentejo
Das Haus und das Grundstück bieten einen weiten Blick bis auf das Meer. Zu jeder Tageszeit gibt es Sitzplätze im Schatten oder in der Sonne, je nach Bedarf. Das Haus ist groß und bietet viel Platz auch für eine größere Familie. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Strände und Lissabon ist auch nicht weit.
