Booked with Expedia, but they booked us via a third party and we got a terrible room, with no breakfast included and with no option to change rooms. AC wasn't working either. It was a shame since the area was so lovely.

The rooms seem to be recently renovated, spacious and comfortable. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good as well. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from the station. The only complaint was the wifi was really weak and spotty. Overall, very happy with the hotel.

We stayed at Astoria Vico for 2 nights, we wish it was more! The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Service was top notch, everyone was super helpful. We had a beautiful sea view room. Nothing could have beat that view! Vico Equense is a beautiful town, and we loved the quiet lifestyle there. Just a 12 minute ride to Sorrento to explore for the day. We highly recommend staying at Astoria Vico to avoid the Amalfi coast crowds, and enjoy the beauty of Vico Equense.

This property offered a breathtaking view and a lovely experience in a small Italian town. Access to the train was just steps away and the town offered so many amenities, dining options and lovely walking paths. The staff went out of their way to take care of us and even took the time to prepare take away packages including breakfast, light sandwich and fruit on two separate days because our tour left before breakfast opened for guests. Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the Amalfi coast.

This was a perfect location for us. Older couple with moderate sized suit cases and very close to the train line for access to Sorrento Pompeii Naples. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was provided with a few options, buffet. The restaurant was quite good on the days we didn’t feel like going out, however there are a few lovely restaurants in Vico Equense. Probably the only limitation for us, there was no lift, but manageable if on the 1st floor. An enjoyable stay which was not as glitzy or as expense as Sorrento

This hotel was perfect for us! With my rental car, I was concerned about driving in the area because of reports of horrible traffic, the ZTL limitations and parking challenges. What I loved about the location of the hitel, was that it I was able to Park my car easily (10 euro/day), the hotel is directly beside the train station (12 minutes to Sorrento), the hotel is more affordable than other areas, it has it's own amazing restaurant and the town itself is adorable! The hotel was immaculate, and the breakfast excellent. It was pretty much perfect.

Great hotel
Hotel has a great view (although not all rooms do as ours did not). The room was spacious, clean and met our needs. The breakfast was great !! The staff was also kind enough to allow us to keep our bags at reception for a few hours after checking out.

Modern hotel with stunning views of the Gulf of Naples and Mnt Vesuvious. Courteous and professional staff, modern and top notch accomodation. Train station for Pompei and Sorrento round the corner. Excellent choice of restaurants.

Nice hotel,friendly stuff, clean rooms. If you are with a car know that the parking is about 6-7 minutes by walk(with charge). No elevators at all. We spent the night in a back room but we still heard the noise from the Main Street. The breakfast wasn’t good. The bread was old and felt like is from days ago and the coffee was worse-the worst one that I drink in years,very disappointing to drink this awful coffee in Italy

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Hotel has all you could need and is right next to the train station which made traveling around so convenient. The view of Mt. Vesuvius from the terrace is INCREDIBLE. Also we had major travel delays, and Antonio at the front desk was so helpful making sure we got to the hotel safely in the middle of the night. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Staff had good English, were very helpful and friendly. Our room had a fabulous view to Mount Vesuvius and was perfectly placed near the train station, but tea/coffee making facilities would have improved it.

The hotel was very small, but had all the amenities of a large resort, including free beach access, and breakfast. Our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea, and Mount Vesuvius. The location was perfect, right beside the train station with service to Naples and Sorrento. Beware of the Circumvesuviana train however, as it is crowded and completely unreliable.

Dear Guest, thanks for your review! we are so sorry that you don't prefer our hotel, if you had complained that you want change the room, we would have been glad to do that for you, as we do for all our guests! the satisfaction of our guests is the first think for us! if everyone said that the hotel is well cleaned we don't know why you say not! if i had been in a room as you say "was dump in the toilet", i've never been there for 4/5 nights, saying nothing!

The staff were wonderful, incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location was unbeatable and our room was very comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights and never tired of the amaxing view from our room and the(communal) terrace.

First and foremost the staff were superb. Attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. The property was tastefully decorated throughout. The rooms minimal but very comfortable. The external shutters on the window aided a really dark room for sleeping. The bathroom was small but adequate. My grumbles... Noise in the hotel travelled. We were woken up numerous times by people talking, TV and toilets flushing. And a big disappointment, Expedia listed this property as having a restaurant. This was a big factor in our choice of this hotel. Unfortunately, this is in incorrect. Breakfast is served but no restaurant for evening meals.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and services. Delicious full breakfast with table service. Wished the rooms had a small refrigerator available.

Great place to stay!
This hotel is a hidden gem! I would definitely recommend it! The outside of the hotel doesn't look much but inside is a different story. The hotel is very clean and modern throughout. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. There is a terrace on the first floor which looks out at Vesuvius, it's beautiful. We had a room at the back of the hotel so our view wasn't great but we only paid for a cheaper room. The room itself was lovely and clean and cleaned everyday. The hotel is located in a great position as it is literally 1 minute walk to the train station. The train only takes 10 minutes to get to Sorrento. Lots around if you don't always feel like going into Sorrento though. We loved staying here and would recommend!

Amazing hotel
Can’t fault this hotel at all. All the staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, beside the bus and train stations and the shops and restaurants are just a stroll around the corner. The whole place was gleaming during my stay. The room was comfortable. The whole place has a lovely beach feel to it. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options. Would definitely stay here again

Very nice hotel near Sorrento. The ambiance is good and the customer service was excellent. The hotel is literally 500 meters from the train station which makes it an excellent choice.

I found this hotel to be great value for money. It is in an excellent location, very close to the train station with regular trains to Sorrento, Pompeii etc. and has a communal balcony with a great view. I received a booklet on arrival with useful information including train and ferry timetable. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English and there was a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. My room was clean and large, bathroom was tiny but as a solo traveller that didn’t bother me so much.

We could not have picked a better location to stay. First, the view from the hotel is outstanding. We had ocean view rooms and were also next to the second floor patio... what a great place to hang out. The room was really nice. Couldn't ask for more. The staff was outstanding and helped with everything we needed. There is a car park behind the hotel that offers a discount if you are staying. The town square is a 5 minute walk with a bunch of places to eat and drink. You have go to the University of Pizza for their Meter of Pizza.

Hotel staff went out our their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room I had was clean and spacious. Only problem was bed hard. My son’s room through was a closet with only enough room to make it around bed and a window about 6ft from a wall.

Charming room on the coast
We checked in quite late because of some delays in our travel plans and the front desk was supernatural accommodating even at such a late hour. They had turned the heat on so that we’d find the room nice and cozy, especially since it was quite a chilly evening. The view is so beautiful, overlooking the baubles of Naples and then Vesuvius!
