Although the publicity says extensive wine list we were not shown it and only given a verbal run down of a few wines with no prices so a bit of a shock to be charged a high price for a very average bottle.Menu is set price but no option to have only one or two courses. No internet when we stayed so unable to access our mail and we had to pay in cash as it was still not connected by the next morning! Spacious bedroom but limited choice in tea or coffee and no biscuits to have with it.Expensive stay for limited facilities, however it was a relatively close to the ferry port.

Great hotel in SE Ireland
Family run hotel, excellent service, very friendly owners. Spacious clean rooms. Fantastic restaurant and pub, classic look. Hotel easy to find, well signed along the N25. Only downside is that the wifi is only available in the foyer/reception area, not the rooms. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

SUPERBLY DECORATED AND FURNISHED HOTEL
Unfortunately only stayed the one night and did not have an opportunity to sample the Egan Ronay acclaimed cuisine. Perhaps if we pass that way again, hopefully we will have more time to appreciate the hospitality that is on offer at this outstanding establishment.

Far from 4 **** in my opinion.
Perhaps we arrived on a bad day or conversely the owners are always moody and unhelpful.
