This hotel is very easy to get to and from if you are flying in and out or Arlanda. The no shoes policy was very annoying. After arriving late at night and carrying our bags up 2 flights of stairs we did not want to take our shoes off, but did only to find that the bathrooms had water all over the floor so our socks were nice and wet when all we wanted to go was get warm and sleep before our flight out the next morning.

We lived the experience. It was perfect for an overnight layover. The shuttle was very convenient. The drop off at 1am was a little scary in the dark and the bus driver was not the nicest. He was not a hostel employee but maybe a lighted sign or direction signage at the bus stop area would help. I would recommend this to anyone with a layover at ARN

The advertisement for this location didn't make it clear that it is in a Boeing Airplane. It would have been an interesting thing to experience had I known up front what I was signing up for. Also the fact that there was no receptionist on the premise when arriving at 12:30am was a bit unnerving although it was a relief someone answered the intercom when I pushed the button. The rooms were extremely crammed with two bunk beds in each. I had trouble storing my luggage on the limited floor space. The price was hyper inflated for the amenities offered.

Old run down, not much choices for food around. Might be good for a quick layover but not good for an actual stay. No one on the property to help if needed. Elevator is broken had to carry luggage up a bunch of stairs.

We booked this property because it is unique. I mean really, how many 747 airplanes are made into a hotel in the world? We arrived after 1:00am at the airport and found our way to the property very easily. Check in was a breeze, all done by an email received earlier. Our room was clean and the breakfast the next day was basic but good. The rooms do not have their own bathrooms but there were many to share. The outside of the airplane could use a freshening up in terms of new paint.

This was great experience. Sleeping on a plane. Airport bus runs every 20 min. My wife didn’t like the shared restroom and shower. They were very very clean, but if you want own separate facilities this may not be for you. For a single overnight stay it was FUN!!

Good and Unique
The Jumbo Stay Hotel is nice and unique. The rooms are small, but that was to be expected and nonetheless they were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage in the room. It was mainly a self-serve hotel as there was little service from reception which was told to us in advance. The facilities were cleaned daily. The breakfast was self-serve as well which was available from 3:00am to 10:00am which is helpful as we had an early flight. The only complaint I will say is that it was snowing the days we were there and the area, particularly the stairs, were icy and not cleared which could have caused an accident. It was a unique experience and I would recommend to those interested.

I enjoyed the experience of sleeping in a plane. It felt like we had the place for ourselves, like no one else was there. What wasn't great though was that the Elevator is broken for some time now. And breakfast looked questionable. Also everybody's room keys just sit on the desk when you check in.

The only positive thing I can say about this property is the unique concept of a hotel inside an airplane. The walls were dirty, the tv didn’t work…and I never received the email regarding access to the cavities as promised in reservation email. I would also note that I did not receive the room I “clicked” on and was charged more than the listed price. When I addressed the manager about the issue, they stated “that’s an Expedia issue”.

Great novelty but neglected
I really wanted to love this hotel, its a hotel on a plane, how could it not be great? The room was interesting being in the former engine of the plane. However on close inspection it was quite neglected. The carpeting was coming loose in places, the window stickers peeling, plastics cracked etc. The bed itself was actually quite comfortable and it wasn't a bad sleep. The inside of the plane itself was very interesting but there is no staff to make use of purchasing items from their cafe/souvenir shop or to help with check in. You had to message or phone in advance to get the door code etc. The walkway on the wing had the flooring loose and ripped up in a few places, and the benches were broken and unsafe. The shared toilets and shower facilities were acceptable but nothing special, at least one of the toilet seats was broken though. The WiFi also didn't work in my room, it worked on the plane itself but not in my room. The breakfast was very very basic, it was just a fridge with some cheap cheese and meat, some bread and crackers, a jug of juice and a couple of jars of cereal. You take your shoes off when entering the plane and there is a leak just inside the door when it rains so I got nice wet socks just after stepping inside, which wasn't fun. The novelty of the stay is great, and I did actually enjoy my stay for this reason, however the whole place seems quite neglected which is sad as it could easily be put back to great shape.

Truly unique place to stay.
Truly unique place to stay and very convenient if you need to catch early flight or arriving late. Probably wouldn't recommend for a longer stay, but for a night or two it's ok. There are shared bathroom/shower facilities, we only seen 2 of them and one was out of order at the time we stayed. This although haven't effected us much as we arrived late and left early. Breakfast was very minimal, but for a quick bite before the flight was good.

There’s no hotel like it! You have to try at least once. Without desk attendants, getting in to my “engine room” was a little bit like playing Escape Room, following a trail of clues. But I didn’t call for help! Everything was very clean.
