Older motel right next to downtown. Room was surprisingly comfortable. Daily housekeeping but limited desk & no breakfast. Happily, with the window coverings, front & rear windows, brick building & room location the room stayed cool through unseasonal heat--found on last day there that the AC unit didn't work!

The property is a little dated, but the owner does a nice job keeping it up to date. A good place for an overnight. Dining is close and good.

Satisfied with our stay
The front desk person was very kind, answered questions, and efficiently got us into our room. We received several nice recommendations for places to eat. Rooms are older, but the 2 separate bedrooms were nice. Price was excellent.

Bathroom door did not close, toilet seat was broken, AC in second room was old and used for the whole room, floors had a lot of stains, loud music across the street until 11pm, office manger walking bare foot, pictures are not what they appear to be. If you want a decent place for your family, pay a little more and go down the street.

We did not interact with the staff except at checking, there was no need. Cleaning service came in every day to tidy up the room which was a nice surprise . Only complaint was it was the room got a little warm at night. I couldn’t find a way to adjust the air conditioning.

I highly recomend the Continetal Inn. It is located right down town and within walking distance of tons of fun activities. The Inn was quiet and clean and great prices.

Close to parks an good food an shop's, the beach is right down the street. Also it's really close to the ferry boat that goes to Bois blanc island which is awesome ! The Staff helped me right away with a problem An Solved it immediately! So that was Excellent!

Great hotel! Hidden gem. Perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars, shops... Room was perfect, with a separate room with a bed as well. Great little balcony porch that was perfect to enjoy the evening. Only downfall, all the vending machines were out of service. Gas station across the street, but convenience wise, would be nice if the machines had been working. Would totally recommend a stay here!

For those of you who don't like old or outdated, you mightvwant to find something else. However, we found this little motel to be very nice because when I got in the room the first thing I did was check the bed. The sheets were very clean and smelled of chlorine so I could tell they had been washed. Then, I checked the bathtub. It was sooo clean, I took a bath. As for the rest of the motel, it was very old and outdated but, every where we looked,they were remodeling. There was new paint, new air conditioners being brought in and much more. The neighborhood is a luttle industrial but there weren't any homeless people or farbage and we felt safe. The pool was warm and clean and I swam at 6a.m. which was a treat. Yes, I recommend this little motel.
