Lovely old building with nice history. Carpets dated in bedroom and in need of a hood hoover in places. Linen was super nice as was the towels. Reception man very helpful. Needed to change room as the one allocated had the windows sealed so could not get fresh air Okish got the cost

Great location, just very noisy, Friday to Sunday , banging music all night to 4am…!!!! Crazy! Room nice but absolutely no storage at all for clothes??? Living out your suitcase for a week , not good!!! Staff seemed to not care most of the time , but they have an amazing location. Breakfast with the room very good, lots of choice and very well prepared and cooked.👌 Also road noise is terrible, road sweeper to start at 4.30 up and down then the bin men from 06.00….. every day 🫣 Same as manly is awesome 🙌🙌☀️👌

This is my new favorite hotel! It's directly across from the beach and is walkable to lots of restaurants/bars/cafes, shopping and beach activities. The attached bistro has great food options and the free breakfast is amazing. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The value of this hotel is unbeatable for the price.

Our shower did not drain and almost poured into the room carpet. I pulled up the drain and it was revolting! Hair and scum was blocking the drain. Probably not cleaned in some time. Didn’t ruin our stay but wasn’t that great to find. Walking distance to everywhere. No parking so best to Uber or cab down to manly for the night. Breakfast was included and delicious. Many options to choose from and also great coffee.

Fantastic place!! Lucky to book for NYE - totally worth the price. If I ever make it back to AU this will be my first choice for accommodations. Manly was one of my favorite places. If I knew then what I know now I would have skipped our booking in Sydney & just stayed in Manly instead. The ferry into Sydney is inexpensive & easy.

We were sent to our room once checked in and when we opened the door it hadn't been cleaned or bed changed. We told reception, and it took 45 mins to sort out. We had our 11 month old baby with us so this was a long wait for a tired baby. We had booked a king room so we could sleep the 3 of us on the bed, which I called to check when booking, and I noticed the bed was a queen size. I told reception and it seems a manager had 'upgraded' us to a room with a better view. I was told we could change to the King room if we wanted but the King room gets really loud as the venue is open to 4am. At this point my baby was already napping and it would have been to difficult to change rooms so we decided to remain and just make it work. I was told I would get some money refunded when we checked out. However, when I asked at check out I was told we wouldn't get any money refunded because of the 'upgrade'. The staff were clearly doing their best and were nice enough but the experience was disappointing overall.

Stayed on a warm Sunday night in a queen room which faced the guest terrace. Aircon was great and their was a window that could be opened a few inches if needed. Room was clean and tidy. Had a coffee machine and tea supplies. Also a mini bar with drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. The room was quite small - fine for 1 person with only a carry on bag. The edge of the bed to the bathroom door was about 30cm. Inside the bathroom was fine - and the shower pressure was good and no issues with constant hot water. Grabbed breakfast downstairs on the Monday morning - not busy, plenty off space. My espresso and eggs benedict (on hoemmade crumpets!) were both lovely. Location - amazing. Cross the road and you're on the beach. As a solo travller, i'd happily stay here again - probably not on a hectic Friday or Saturday night when the pub is pumping though.

L’hôtel est tres bien situé, et la chambre est tres bien décoré dans un style moderne. Le seul problème a été que ma chambre n’a pas de vrai fenêtre, c’est une fausse fenêtre qui ne donne sur rien et qui ne peux pas être ouverte. Donc pas de lumière naturel ni d’aération. A part cela, l’hôtel est tres agréable et le petit déjeuné tres bon et copieux.

Nice staff, good breakfast. Room poor. No window. Well, there was a heavily frosted and dirty window that you could not open. It no doubt looked out over a small courtyard, but as one could not look through the dirty frosted glass I can only guess it was something unpleasant. That’s probably what you get for booking through Hotels.com

Great stay but lacked a window
Service was wonderful and area was great, but the lack of window in the room really impacted. Maybe some of the rooms have them? Felt a bit like I was in a box waking up due to the lack of natural light. I wouldn't rebook here for that reason and was really keen to get out in the morning. That aside, the hotel is perfect and super convenient, with really lovely staff.

Would stay again but would upgrade for a window.
Check-in was very slow and we were surprised that our room had windows but they were locked shut and then covered in solid perspex. Therefore there was no natural light or fresh air. However, the guest lounge was fantastic for our party of 10 to socialise, and the breakfast was great.

The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel should disclose prior to booking that the venue turns into a nightclub on a friday and saturday night and that you will hear music and people scremainh on your room. Its also important that the hotel disclose that there is no feont desk to call during the night. So if you face issues, like we did you physically need to leave your room in the middle of the night to find hotel staff.

Accommodation was awesome. We stayed in the Queen corner room for nine days including 2 weekends. Friday & Saturday nights were extremely noisy so don’t forget your earplugs. The communal areas for eating and socialising could do with a good thorough clean, but I guess it’s sooooo hard to find staff at the moment. Manly is a gorgeous spot for swimming, walking and lots of assorted eateries and restaurants. We had an awesome time.

Great place to stay. Its a pub…definitely need ear plugs…so noisy. Market stall set ups start in laneways (beside rooms) at 6.30AM Rooms small but perfect; bars great (need more peak hour staffing); rooftop partying with DJ excellent. Sweet staff. Great fun!!!! Beach across the road. Ferry to Sydney a short walk.
