Hotel great but they need to stop people ‘reserving’ sun beds from 6am onwards, it was really ridiculous, no sun beds left by 9am and hardly anyone in sight - but all the beds covered with towels. It made the hotel feel like a cheap 1 star motel rather than anything high end. Disappointed overall because of this.

We like everything . What we dont like was the ebookers who made a mistake with our reservation. We book for 2 adults and 2 childs and ebookers(expedia), send wrong information to the hotel. They send 2 infants instead of childs. Dont book with them.

I’ve been to different RIU in Caribbean and this by far is worse one I’ve ever been too. I’ve been to RIU Costa Rica and Jamaica Ocho rios and Negril. It was very disappointing the lack entertainment. When I stay at inclusive I expect it to have basics to not have to leave the hotel. They had four pools and only one pool had music and it was replay of 6 songs from pop music of 1980’s. I went to lobby and was told that it family hotel and that this is not the Caribbean. You’re suppose to be original place in the brand and that in itself is complete disappointment! All RIUS are family hotels so the statement that it family hotel as to why you provide lack of basic music 🎶 is sorry excuse. The buffets lacked variety and were similar menu. The restaurant was buffet style as well had little variation to main buffet. The hotel was very clean and grounds were absolutely stunning. The staff was rude they rarely came to even pour water unless we asked. They were not treating all the guests that way just seem to be us. Bring your things to entertain yourself because they are not providing much entertainment.

Very good value for money.
Family of 4. Superb value for money. 3 pools to keep kids entertained (4th adults only) with some good entertainment. Restaurant overlooking sea was superb. Speciality italian was exceptional standard. The friday night white party was one of best parties ive been to in a hotel. Would pay for that! 3 minor points. No ice cream during day for kids unlike other all inclusive brands. Glass allowed around pool. Sports pool was cutting so many peoples (4+ a day) feet after water polo but lifeguard didnt seem to do anything - may have been cut tile - hoepfully fixed now. End on a positive - kahoot quiz was great fun! We will no doubt return.

The property is wonderful. The staff are their with smiles on doing a wonderful job . Food service the best. Each restaurant was a pleasure to dine in. Front desk always there to help. Room cleaned everyday. Riu fit staff excellent.

Good hotel. Beware sunbed reserving!
Very clean hotel and room. All staff very friendly and helpful, without fail. Food pretty reasonable, just a bit repetitive after a week of being there. Entertainment ok, good some nights, not so good others. Overall good. Only bad thing is that you have to be awake ridiculously early to reserve a poolside sunbed.

Fabulous family hotel
RIU Buenavista was was fantastic. Everything in the hotel complex was as advertised. Rooms were spacious and really clean. Bathrooms were new and the view from the balcony over the coast was majestic.

Favourite hotel.
Another enjoyable stay. Have stayed many times one of my favourite hotels. Service,food,cleanness always first class. Only comment the entertainment was not as good as it has been. There may be issues with getting acts now with the 90 day ruling over Brexit. Will go again soon I'm sure.

I wholeheartedly recommend Riu for families with small children, the family room with separate bedroom for kids and parents was so spacious, two tvs was also handy. Room was modern, had good amount of sockets and USB ports. Huge terrace. There is a few pools to choose from, we loved the infinity pool as well as kids a pool with slides. Main restaurant had a great variety of food at each meal, and comparing to different 5 star hotels we visited food at Riu was excellent. Entertainment for kids was great, my 4.5 yo daughter had so much fun at kids disco each evening, and she enjoyed kids club activities. Lovely walk outside the hotel. The hotel is very well planned with toilets just around every corner, plenty of locations with drinks and snacks throughout the day. Very easy to move around with a buggy.

This was our first holiday abroad since 2018 and our son's first trip out of the country ever and it made an absolutely brilliant impression. The hotel itself is gorgeous and in a very picturesque location for sunsets and so on. The staff were lovely, the food was great, the whole place was immaculate the whole time. Also the pools were really well kept and there was a good range for different needs. Evening entertainment was great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families with little ones, it was perfect for us.

Fantastic stay at Riu Buenavista. Lovely food and drink. The staff were so friendly and gave a fantastic service. Rooms were very clean spacious and modern. Free bottled water for your room. The choice of food and drink was vast, something for everyone. Can’t fault a thing. One suggestion only is hash browns at breakfast would be nice.

Very impressed overall, rooms were great, loved the sea view. Staff super friendly and very organised. Lots of activities on the animations and good choice of bars and restaurants. All inclusive drinks were good and food was better than most hotels, good choice of salads, cheeses, breads desserts etc. Let down once or twice by choices for main courses, and it would have been nice if the speciality restaurants had been table service. Overall, I'd stay again and recommend !

The hotel is split into family friendly and more quiet areas for you to choose the most suitable. The hotel grounds are spacious and the staff are all amazing and always helpful with a smile. A short walk from several small beaches, restaurants and shops.

My wife and I recently spent a couple of nights here in early June. Check-in was quick and without fuss. We were given a map of the hotel with directions to our room. There is a video board in reception explaining what events are happening (but not where). I was also given the wi-fi code and told that the entertainment information was available on the hotel app. A special mention goes to receptionist Kaja who spent 10 minutes helping me download the wifi when it all went to pot despite my best efforts to download it. We had asked for a quiet room and were given Room 464. Very spacious with a fantastic view out to sea and La Gomera. The room had two large single beds, a fridge, 2 large bottles of complementary water, TV with some English language channels. However there was no kettle. The bathroom was large with double wash basins, hand and bath towels, soap and tissues. The walk in shower had a gel dispenser. However, there were no face cloths, shower cap or any additional bathroom sundries that one would expect from a 4* hotel. Meals- Breakfast (07.30-10.30) is mainly geared to continental Europeans. There was a good range of cold cuts and cheese, but surprisingly no individual yogurt pots and limited (usually apples and pears) fresh fruit. There were 6 different types of cereals and some very runny oatmeal. Cooked items included frankfurter type sausages, eggs all ways, baked beans and bacon as well as a selection of cooked vegetables (no hash browns or other potato offer

Fabulous Hotel
The hotel was refurbished while closed for lockdown. It is fabulous beautiful hotel. 4 swimming pools plenty of space and sunbeds. The staff are very helpful and the food is amazing with plenty of choice and hot too. The rooms have everything apart from no tea tray, normal for spain.
