Very nice hotel, could do with a bit of updating but the pool and garden areas were immaculate and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

It was a quiet and comfortable property. The staff were lovely - lots of Christmas activites while we were there and we we always included. We enjoyed the padel and tennis courts.

Big resort outside PDLC
Pleasant reception staff,80s carpeted rooms with great balcony with seaview,the balcony doors aren't soundproof and rattle in the wind.the room is well equipped bring your own tea/coffee or there is a Lidl up the hill,I had to buy soap also as it wasn't provided.the breakfast and dinner are of a good varied standard but you have to pay for water at dinner which felt a bit scammy.wifi was weak and the free shuttle bus into town is excellent,heated pool and gym well maintained.

The resort is in a great location: by the sea (from the room's window it feels like you are on a boat!), close to restaurants and cafe's and walking distance from the beach. You can also access a hiking path from the hotel. The downtown area is 20 of walking along the sea coast. The common areas are FANTASTIC. The rooms have not been renovated in a while, but they are fine.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the evening meal was OK, didn't go hungry. Great idea having shuttle bus going to Puerto as its a fair way from the centre, but so close to Loro Park. We had a sea view, but the noise of the waves crashing in day and night was very loud. The room was very dated and needed a lot of refurbishment needed, but it was very spacious. Bathroom could do with modernising, but we had lovely hot water. So there some good and some not so good points but would return to hotel.

Reception was good. The room service not. What they was doing is only making the bed and thats it. Toilet, bide and floor in bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. And we were dissapointed of room. We paid extra 50€ just cos of the floor. There was no difference between our room and our friends room which was simple and our superioir. Please sort out your things.

Great location a mile from downtown, but on a bluff above crashing waves on rocky shore. Easy drive to TF-5 to anywhere on the island and Mt Tiede Park. Multi-lingual staff, great buffets. Free shuttle to shopping center/downtown. We would stay there again.

Only location was good..rest was disappointing..rooms need to be upgraded...there was no WiFi in the room...we had asked for one double bed, they gave us 2 single beds, no bellboy service...overall not so good experience.

We have stayed at other Maritim hotels & have been more than pleased, so how the Maritim group are happy to have a hotel of this caliber I am amazed. It is a dark depressing place with the food selection served up on the lowest of imaginable budget (but edible). The sliding doors of balcony on coast side rattle all night. The staff were all very pleasant & hard working especially bar staff as only ever 1 on duty at any given time. We did leave this hotel half way through our stay at our expense & booked into another. Maritim what are you doing?

Nice place for a quiet break
Nice hotel, part of a larger apartment complex. Great sea views, breakfast offered a nice variety and there's lots of it (same for buffet dinner)! Negatives, walking to/from the hotel is a little difficult because of the hill. The pool was closed so we had to walk to the resort pool (up a hill) The gym is not part of the hotel building, its in the attached centre which is a little walk (bit of a hill) Over all its good if you don't mind a little bit of walking Rules like no booking pool chairs are completely ignored...

Get the sea view room
Beautiful hotel with views to die for, several restaurants with lovely food on site. Each room has a balcony - definitely get the sea view room! Breakfast offers a huge array including a decent full English. Most staff speak moderately good English.

Large but friendly hotel
Large hotel on the "beach" - actualy lava but very pretty! On the edge of town so quiet but only 10- 15 min to walk in. Largely German tour groups but a single traveller was well looked after. Breakfast was good but dinner is aimed at the group market - better to walk into town. Very helpful staff. Wifi only in public areas. Beautiful sunset views. Cheap car parking and easy to find by car.

Excellent hotel!
Clean hotel, comfortable, nice staff, good food (buffet) both in the morning and evening. If your room is at the see side realise it is the North side and your balcony is hanging above the point where the ocean waves are smashing into the shore.

The hotel is on a steep hill so it was hard to walk up to it with cases. Staff gave us incorrect info about times the 'speedy' bus would pick us up to get back to the airport (3 hours out!). Staff also gave us incorrect times for the bus home after expeditions to a water park (they told us there would be 2options for busses back to the hotel (4 and 6 pm) when there was only one option at 5pm. The furniture is dated and some is broken (eg the drawer in our room was broken) Our towels were not replaced one day of our stay and when I called for more they said housekeeping was only open 9-5 and to call back then! Disastrous.

Old hotel for old people
It's a old hotel, nothing to do inside...was just old people..no pool after 19:00, same breakfast, same lunch same dinner like lunch. Nothing good.

First I'll start by saying that we only paid £60 a night, so to be fair, 'you get what you pay for'. The lobby, dining areas and pool are nice enough and are clean, but that's were it ends. I didn't feel like our room was very clean, I certainly didn't want to walk on the carpet without socks. There was mold/mildew in the bathroom. The curtains have holes in them! I just felt like I needed a shower the whole time we were there. There is only ONE electrical outlet and it's for a shaver in the bathroom, that's all, no others! So you have to juggle charging phones, cameras. The room and hotel interior is in much need of updating, new carpet, new drapes, new sheets, bedspread (oh yeah, which doesn't even come close to covering two people...way too small). The stingy part: 1) you have to pay a fee per day to use the in-room safe, 2) you only get ONE towel per person for the pool (and they log that against your room number), 3) drink prices are outrageous, 4) you have to fake a back injury in order to get an additional pillow. Oh, and breakfast was only so-so.

German hotel who knew
The hotel is actually very nice, breakfast was adequate, staff pleasant. But as British we would have liked to have known the hotel was German with the little entertainment etc German. The hotel is outside of the main town and taxis or a shuttle bus are needed unless you want to walk for 25 mins. The rooms facing the sea are on the actual cliff with beautiful views but the noise of the waves crashing against the rocks below the balconies are very loud all night, the patio doors are very old and have no soundproofing and the doors are not safe fir young children. The hotel rooms could also do with modernisation. But if your German then if say go for it!

Excellent hotel with terrific view on the sea
I spent 9 days in this German owned hotel and got a very good room with a fantastic view on the sea for a very reasonable rate. I would recommend the hotel, however if, like me, you are travelling in November or later in the winter, I strongly recommend to doublecheck weather forecasts, as Tenerife can be very rainy in those months: 5 out of 9 days of my stay were characterised by persistent rain, and very often the only way to see the sun was to drive up to the island's volcano, known as "El Teide" (altitude 3700 metres)

Good for escaping the crowds
Large hotel mainly with older Germans i.e. quiet and everything works. Nice pool areas, garden and gym. Also easy to explore local towns from here.
