"We were very fortunate as we were told on arrival that we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the gorgeous Room 1. The hotel is lovely, the food is very good and the staff are very courteous. The location was also a good base for visiting lots of different places in the area. The only thing I didn’t like (small gripe) was the music they piped into the communal areas - awful covers and a wee bit too loud. I really hope we stay at this hotel again. I was sad to leave the comfort of Room 1. "
