"This Property was phenomenal to say the least. This was My first time in a Hostel, and this establishment was far above what I expected. The atmosphere was welcoming to any and everyone from all nations, tribes and tongues. There were amenities that accommodated families, individuals, professionals, athletes, scholars, you name it. If you are a global citizen, coming to The NYC on a journey, then this Hostel is a great place to Homebase, and and get yourself familiar with what the Beautiful state of New York has to offer. "The Empire Hotel is located in a clean, quiet safe area with a one minute walk to the nearest subway located at 59 St-Columbus Circle. Outside the hotel there is always a cab or Uber nearby if you don't want to walk. There are several coffee shops, convenient stores and a deli located nearby. Central Park is literally a five minute walk from your hotel which allows you to have a relaxing twenty minute scenic walk to all the major sites located on 5th Ave. Plus the service at the hotel is excellent. I highly recommend it."
