Very impressed by this property. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room view was amazing. All amenities we could ask for. We have special diet restrictions and during breakfast the staff was able to find extra food for us. Definitively above and beyond in many ways.

Great location, Friendly staff
Great place to stay and their staff make you feel right at home. It is located centrally and walking distance to the main points of Uppsala.

The staff were friendly and helpful as we arrived after the restaurant closed, they were happy to recommend other places in town to eat. The hotel is in the centre so handy for visitors although sadly we were only there for a brief time

Right in the heart of Uppsala
We managed to reserve one of the few parking spots at the hotel. The first bad news is: the driveway to the parking spaces is extremely narrow between two walls. We had maybe 10cm on each side to spare. But we managed. All parking spots are equipped with a 4kWh EV charger (not that fast but good enough to recharge over night). The chargers worked without a problem. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. It maybe lacked a bit of cloth storing and hanging space. The bathroom was tiny (as seen on the picture provided by the hotel). We managed, but it could be an issue. The night itself was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was really good; in particular their scrambled eggs were amazing. You could also squeeze your own orange juice. Overall the selection was really good and they cared about food intolerances (gluten, lactose). We definitely consider staying here again.

First the bad. The room had an awful smell. The staff tried to fix it but did not quite succeed during the two nights I stayed. There was also late night street noise, but that may just have been the muscle car convention happening when I was there. Now the good. Staff, breakfast, room (other than smell), location (other than the cars that ruined it).

Very charming hotel, located in a part of Uppsala that was very convenient to the sightseeing that I wanted to do. My room was just what I needed and had a lovely view of the city.

Pretty outside, cramped inside
The room was insanely small - not even a single shelf or hanger to put things away on. Genuinely made me feel claustrophobic. The bathroom shower design had water going everywhere, the water ran cold after a few mins and the bathroom light flickered endlessly. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the local area. We ended up leaving after one night and just forfeiting the money for our second night.

This hotel is located strategically near to the centrum and the river, which is very convenient for sightseeing and tour around the city. The room and pillows are comfortable and clean, and the shower is excellent. However, similar to most hotels in this area, there are no air-con as the weather gets chilly towards the evening, but during daytime it can be rather warm. The staff are mostly friendly, eventhough there was an instance when I was talking with my daughter on the phone and was told by a staff that I need to talk ‘softer’ as my voice was too loud 😅…- which was not a typical experience from other hotels which I have stayed before (as I didn’t know it was a problem as I was in a hotel and not a library 😬)…but otherwise it was a wonderful stay 😍

The room is very spacious and well designed - I love it so much! The location is perfect, within walking distance to most of the sightseeing spots. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide array of options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Uppsala!

Beautiful old hotel along the river. Room was charming and larger than many I have had in Sweden. They had everything I needed. Breakfast was fabulous. I would have stayed two or three nights but there was no availability. I was worth it for one night even though I had to move to another hotel the second day.
