The Home Varaville 2 km from Cabourg, 30 m from the beach by a private road. A garden of 400 mÂČ for shared use. A place of parking on the closed ground. Baker, Charcutier at 200 m, restaurant at 300 m, thermal center "Thalazur" at 1 km, golf course 18 holes at 1km.
Semi-detached villa of 80 mÂČ, 4 rooms, on 2 levels. Fully equipped kitchen opening onto a living room with flat screen TV, corner sofa, a bedroom on the ground floor (140 cm bed) with flat screen TV, WC on ground floor. Upstairs: shower room with WC and towel dryer, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm), 1 flat screen TV, 1 wardrobe and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm) and flat screen TV.
Electric heating, 1 iron with table, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue.
Bed linen and towels are not provided. Housekeeping not included, foresee 60 € in cash to be given at the delivery of the keys imperatively. If no deposit no keys will be given on arrival. If the house is impeccable this sum will be refunded to you at your departure.
A deposit check must be handed in at the entrance of an amount of 500 €.
Check in time is 1 pm (see other options if required), and departure at 10 am.
Non smoking inside the house, small animals allowed.

nice house next to the beach

the house itself was cosy and clean, but in contradiction to the description, no private parking in the property and no access to the garden were allowed. There's also no WIFI available and the 4G signal is really poor.

Communications and Expectations

The day before we arrived we where asked via text if we need linen and towels. We said yes. The evening we arrived no towels or linen. We called the concierge contact he said sorry and he could not make it that evening so no sheets or towels, but next morning he will come early. So after a long day we had no linen. He did not make it next morning either, we sat all morning waiting, so I bought towels and we went about our day. That evening there where towels and sheets available at the door. So the next day we are traveling in the region and get a call that the concierge is at the house waiting to be paid for the linen. One, we where an hour away, two why would you just show up to the house looking for money, three I didn't know we needed to pay for linen. So we told him we where enjoying our vacation and would talk later. That evening he showed up at the house. He wanted his money for linen, 90 Euros, I was not happy to pay for something we didn't have for 2 days of our stay, he went down to 40 Euros, I just wanted it to be over, so I said OK here is my card. He said no card cash only, I thought that was strange. So I gave him 50 Euro, he said he had no change and would bring 10 euro change in the morning, he never did. This entire inter- action was very strange and didn't seem legitimate.

Un séjour reposant et vivifiant

Petit séjour de 4 jours en famille afin de profiter à fond du bon air marin. Nous avons été comblés. Confort, proximité de la plage, calme, tout y était. Merci beaucoup.

Aucune consigne donnĂ©e Ă  l’arrivĂ©e, pas d’adresse, quand j’ai appelĂ© la conciergerie, elle m’a donnĂ© une mauvaise adresse, ce qui m’a valu un accueil fort peu aimable des voisins. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s, la porte d’entrĂ©e principale ouverte, ce qui est inquiĂ©tant quand quand on arrive dans un endroit que l’on ne connais pas. La communication est quasi inexistante et Veronique la propriĂ©taire ne rĂ©pond pas aux messages et ne donne aucune consigne sur le check out. Le pire
 la saletĂ© ! À notre arrivĂ©e, les WC n’était pas nettoyĂ© et il restait les excrĂ©ments des prĂ©cĂ©dents locataires une horreur ! la maison n’est absolument pas entretenue Les dessous d’evier ou de lavabo sont trĂšs sales, gras et poussiĂ©reux, les carreaux, bords de fenĂȘtres, placards , Ă©tagĂšres ne sont pas nettoyĂ©s, la haute aspirante est tellement grasse que l’on ose pas la toucher. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s, l’apurateur n’avait pas Ă©tĂ© passĂ©, et en plus en panne Les sols n’étaient pas lavĂ©s et nous avons commencĂ© par retirer les tapis des chambres, et notamment celle des enfants ils Ă©taient tachĂ©s non aspirĂ©s est extrĂȘmement poussiĂ©reux. Il y a dans cette maison, une odeur de moisi dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussĂ©e et de graisse dans la salle. Les 70€ de mĂ©nage qui sont facturĂ©s sont absolument injustifiĂ©s. Cela est dĂ©solant et dommage car cette maison est extrĂȘmement bien placĂ©e, dans un chemin privĂ© , trĂšs proche de la plage et trĂšs calme. Cela ne compense pas le manque de propretĂ©.

Agréable location proche mer

SĂ©jour agrĂ©able location spacieuse manque quelques Ă©quipements dans salle de bains notamment Pannier douche pour les produits et raclette de nettoyage PropretĂ© limite 😹 nous avons eu la chance de ne pas avoir de voisins pour que les chiens puissent profiter du jardin. La mer a 200 m et la tranquillitĂ© A recommander !

À notre arrivĂ© impossible d'identifier la maison vu les rue chemin ou rue qui son Ă  cĂŽtĂ© puis grĂące Ă  un voisin nous avons trouvĂ©s aprĂšs pas de clefs le concierge n'avait soit disant pas le bon numĂ©ro de tĂ©lĂ©phone et aprĂšs la maison pas trĂšs propre serviettes hygiĂ©niques dans la poubelle etc.....

Fijn appartement

De woning zelf prima te doen, niet geheel super netjes, goede ruimtes. Omgeving uitstekend en lekker dicht bij het mooie strand. Maar goed ook dat strand zo dichtbij was daar de beloofde omheinde tuin niet aanwezig bleek, althans was er wel maar mag niet gebruikt worden. Juist dit huisje genomen Ipv een appartement vanwege de tuin voor de kinderen. Erg vervelend dus dat dit zo verkeerd voorgelicht wordt.

TrÚs bon séjour à Varaville

La maison est agrĂ©able et trĂšs bien situĂ©e, Ă  2 pas de la plage via un petit sentier. Le jardin est grand et clĂŽturĂ© ce qui Ă©tait sĂ©curisant pour nos enfants et notre chien. Il est partagĂ© mais nous n'avons eu personne dans la maison mitoyenne. La literie est confortable. Il manque qqs Ă©quipements : pas de poubelle, pas assez de couverts et de verres par rapport au nombre de personnes qui peuvent ĂȘtre logĂ©es, pas de carafe d'eau, une bouilloire qui ne marche pas, pas de table et chaises pour manger dehors quand il fait beau (ce qui est fort dommage car nous avons eu un super temps!). Le bĂ©mol est le parking : on ne peut pas se garer dans la jardin mais juste sur un parking de 4 places non privĂ©es, qui est vite plein en journĂ©e et il y a trĂšs peu de possibilitĂ©s de stationnement aux alentours. Ça ne nous a pas empĂȘchĂ© de passer un agrĂ©able moment dans cette maison

Aurait pu ĂȘtre bien mais


La maison aurait pu ĂȘtre agrĂ©able (trĂšs bien situĂ©e, bien dĂ©corĂ©e), Mais : - TrĂšs sale. On paye 70€ pour le mĂ©nage final mais le rĂ©sultat est lamentable : gros amas de poussiĂšre et de cheveux dans toutes les piĂšces, excrĂ©ments collĂ©s sous une des lunettes de wc, portes de placards sous Ă©vier ou lavabo trĂšs sales, alĂšses recouvertes de sable et de cheveux
 - maison pas entrenue (tringle qui menace de tomber, lunettes de wc qui ne tiennent pas, bouilloire qui fait sauter le disjoncteur quand on la branche, un barbecue inutilisable (pas de grille, tout rouillĂ© et rempli d’eau)
 -et surtout : l’accueil affreux des voisins dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e devant le portail. A priori, plus aucun locataire n’aura le droit de pĂ©nĂ©trer et se garer dans le jardin commun, ni par consĂ©quence, de pĂ©nĂ©trer dans la maison par la porte d’entrĂ©e. L’accĂšs devra se faire par la cour intĂ©rieure (dans un Ă©tat pitoyable) et la porte-fenĂȘtre qui donne dans la partie salon, derriĂšre le canapĂ©. Il semblerait que ces dĂ©cisions dĂ©coulent de la derniĂšre rĂ©union du syndic. Du coup, l’annonce telle qu’elle Ă©tait rĂ©digĂ©e quand nous avons rĂ©servĂ© deviendrait erronĂ©e : pas de place de parking (Ă  part 4 places publiques toutes prises d’assaut l’étĂ© et rien d’autre). Nous avons eu droit de pĂ©nĂ©trer dans le jardin mais nous serons les derniers. Bref, cette location aurait pu ĂȘtre trĂšs agrĂ©able mais je trouve que j’ai payĂ© trop cher par rapport Ă  son Ă©tat gĂ©nĂ©ral. Je n’y retournerai pas.

la plage au bout du jardin

Excellent emplacement. Une petite maison sympathique correctement meublé mais manque d'entretient. le coin terrasse pour les repas en extérieur n'est pas du tout entretenu. Dommage. la conciergerie de Cabourg chargé du ménage et de la remise des clés n'est pas du tout à la hauteur.

Week-end en famille

Nous avons passés un trÚs bon Week-end en famille, la maison est vraiment en bord de mer. Seuls bémols la chambre du bas un peu humide et la vaisselle pas trÚs propres......manque de liquide de rinçage et sels dans le lave vaisselle. Volet du haut ne se ferme pas. Sinon bon emplacement et superficie correcte pour 6. On a adoré la ville de Cabourg.

Maison agréable, deco sympa, nous avons passé un agréable sejour, dommage que l ensemble manque d entretien...barbecue inutilisable, rouillé et rempli d eau. Une chaise cassé, une barre a rideau qui s arrache du mur....c est dommage

Bonjour, Nous sommes trĂšs déçus de Abritel, le propriĂ©taire de cette maison et de l’agence de conciergerie. L’annonce est mensongĂšre. Il n’y a pas Internet. Pas de draps Ă  l’arrivĂ©e, les volets se ferment Ă  peine et on n’a personne qui a rĂ©pondu pour la check-out. Nous avons donc laissĂ© les clĂ©s devant la maison. Nous ne passerons plus par Abritel pour nos futurs vacances.
