I accidentally booked this hotel two times over and only realised when i got there, my error. Whilst the hotel could not refund me (they would not be able to reuse the room at such short notice), they added some extras to soften the blow. Late check out, breakfast in bed and a discount from the quite wonderful Spa (which i highly recommend). Staff were friends, rooms beautiful and the complex spotless. Only a short stroll from the Arena and 15 minutes walk from the train station, i could not be happier with the location. Highly recommended.

Great Location, clean, fresh accommodation. Very little communal sitting space in accommodation and no information on the hotel on arrival - i.e. Reception staff did not tel us anything regarding the actual Gallery Rooms - apart from where to get breakfast (Marco Pollo).

Positives: Nice hotel, very clean and brights rooms. Modern bathrooms. Full length mirror. Negatives: Needs to be up-kept (shower head in need of replacement), very hard pillow (but comfortable mattress), rooms lack a little character, quite a noisy street at night. Tad over priced for what it is. Shame about the coffee at breakfast! Overall a nice hotel, convenient location but considering the price & negatives probably wouldn't return.

Jacuzzi baths and murals of Verona
Lovely hotel, with murals of Verona and jacuzzi baths in the bathrooms. Clean and great beds, we stayed one night and wished we stayed longer. They even upgraded us to a larger room! The only confusing thing is that it is a sister hotel to Hotel Marco Polo a few doors down, and it said on the reservation that we had to check in at Marco Polo but in reality the reception was in the Gallery Room but the breakfast was in Marco Polo. The staff were very helpful though, and the two hotely are only across the street from each other.

Perfect for our stay
Perfect hotel for our stay in Verona - the location was perfect for getting access to the centre of Verona and it was great for driving to - very easy to find. The car park was great as well and for 18 euros it was cheap as chips - underground and very secure. Rooms were spotless and the hotel staff were very helpful. I would happily stay again

The hotel was great perfect location, in the town. I had asked for a twin room but got a double it didn't bother me and my mum though. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a kettle in the room for a cup of tea/coffee, you could ask for room service but it was a bit slow. The wifi was great however free and fast how unusual is that. Breakfast was a good selection of continental food. If you do stay here check out the cafe/patticerria at the end of the road on the left Pradaval, the hot chocolate, the cakes, the coffee yum yum yum.

Brilliant customer service/Fabulous property
Firstly, at most importantly, the young lady at reception was exceptional. She was helpful, knowledgeable and even prepared to put off her lunch to wait for us to be able to access our rooms. She took the time to point out places of interest on the map and even gave advice about the train system. Verona is a gorgeous spot and the hotel was a real surprise in that it was very good value for money, cool, bright and seemed to have been newly decorated. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to any future travellers to the area.

Couldn't have asked for better! The room was perfectly clean, the beds were comfy. The Hotel Marco Polo (where you check in and where breakfast is served) is right next door, on the other side of the (very quiet) road, so it was not a hassle at all. We got a lot for such a good price. And we were in an ideal location - right next to Piazza Bra and nearby Museo di Castelvecchio, where we found the best restaurants.

Aesthetics are nicely done, great location. Breakfast serving staff were fantasic, prompt and friendly. Good selection of food. Service from front desk was mediocre: Despite calling to inquire about parking before we arrived, I was not told I would need to book a space, and when we arrived they had none left. We were directed to a secure public car park a few blocks away. Not given Internet access info on arrival- we had to call twice to get it and were told it would be sent up. It never was, hence the 2nd call. Room was non smoking but smelled lightly of cigarette smoke. Arrived at address for hotel to check in and after ringing door, were told "well this isn't where you check in" and redirected to sister hotel down the street. Not a big deal but tell your gueats where to check in if its not in the hotel where one is staying. Lastly, spa is an extra 20 euro, disappointing.

This was a nice hotel. A little odd in that we stayed in one building and walked about 1/2 block to get to reception desk and breakfast room. The staff was helpful and the location was convenient to the sites we wished to see. The street was a side street and pretty quiet. Good restaurants near by.

When we arrived at 6 St Antot our first encounter with staff at the hotel was a rude man who told us we had to walk down the road to number 21 to check in, once we had checked in we had to return to number 6 the rude man didn't welcome or greet us, he offered no assistance, to two women travelling alone, with our bags or an explanation of how to get up to our room! The room itself was FINE, nothing like I had expected from the pictures so I was quite disappointed, there was also a large ball of hair in the corner of the room where I'm assuming the previous guest had blow dried her hair - YUK! It was basic, nothing spectacular but the remainder of the staff were friendly and sweet and the location was nice - that's about all I can say, it was just bland!

Nice hotel that looks to be recently renovated. Nice big shower and comfortable bed. A/C blew cold and the employees were always very helpful with directions, booking train tickets, printing documents and assistance with laundry services.

Perfecto Oasis in Verona !
A bit tricky to find but the GPS got us there. We stayed in the gallery above the spa shop. Very clean and quiet. Great smells! Room was smaller as is typical in Europe but very clean efficient and king sized bed!! Great bathroom. Located in a small cross street a few blocks off the Piazza Bra which made it very convenient to get around. Very ample breakfast buffet. Staff was very efficient and accomodating. Breakfast room was a bit small so guests had to be patient when arriving at same time. Garage parking underground! All in all a wonderful stop! Would definitely return next time we're in Verona! Che Bella!

No reception, no signs where to go, breakfast at another hotel, staff very indifferent. It just seemed liked they were ready to go on holidays, started to shut up shop but still charged a very high room rate for what you got compared to other hotels in Italy. Not good value. We wont stay here again

Lovely bright room
Handy location between city centre and train station. The room had good air conditioning and a huge bathroom with a great shower. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Would recommend and gladly stay again. Also the pizzeria on the same street was cheap, tasty and useful if the day's sightseeing has tired you out.

Modern hotel close to the centre of Verona
Check-in for the Gallery Rooms is at the Marco Polo hotel as other reviewers have mentioned, so we knew what to expect. However on check-in the receptionist told us we were being taken to our hotel, only to be taken to another, Hotel Mastino. After realising our room looked nothing like the photos online (and we were given 2 single beds when we had booked a double), we spoke to this hotel's receptionist, who told us that the Gallery Rooms had been overbooked and so they had put us in this hotel instead! We were furious and upset that the receptionist at the Marco Polo hotel had tried to trick us, and that despite us checking in early, there was apparently nothing they could do, so we had no choice but to spend our first honeymooon night in a hotel we had not booked! By the 2nd day, they "found" a room available, but of course it was an inconvenience to pack up and move again, however we wanted to stay in the hotel we had chosen! When we eventually got there, it was wonderful - the room was clean and spacious, and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the arena, the shops and the main restaurants.

The pictures and description look/sound better than the actual place was. The staff was not very attentive and seemed overwhelmed with basic questions. It seems very overpriced compared to many other places we stayed while on vacation.

Very confusing to find but great front desk folks
So, we went to the address listed but it was for a Hotel Marco Polo (which is evidently related) and our hotel was really up the street and wasn't marked as Gallery Room at all. That being said, it was a lovely room and a fabulous bathroom. Had to pay for wi-fi. Front desk girl was fantastic and had great restaurant recommendations. The location is a not-very-long walk from the train station off a main street (quiet).

Beautiful clean room, huge bathroom with spa towels. Free room service for breakfast. Located above a new health spa. Quiet location only minutes from Verona's coliseum. Not far from train station.

Our stay at the Gallery room was lovely, the hotel itself was beautiful ! Close to the centre of Verona, the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again. We had a hire car, they provide secure lock up garage for your vehicle at a cost of course. I can not fault this hotel at all :)
