We are sorry for the situation you refer to, as the jaccuzi has been working without problems, just press the 2 buttons next to it for it to work, as you should understand, the equipment is not connected uninterruptedly without need. If you had contacted our reception immediately, the equipment would have been activated for your use. With regard to missing tiles, it is true that lately there have been a lot of them, we just didn't want to put the pool under maintenance because it's the high season and we didn't want to deprive our customers of using this equipment, but we foresee at the end of the current month or the beginning of next September to be able to replace the tiles. We understand that it gives the impression of a lack of maintenance, but the most important thing for us is the care with the water treatment that deserves all the attention and adequate treatment to safeguard the hygiene conditions that this equipment requires.We hope that the aforementioned aspects will not prevent you from a next visit, which we would greatly appreciate, as we are aware of the importance of the aspects you mention.Thank you and best regards,

It was a great experience. Very clean, modern and staff was very friendly and helpful. EXCELLENT location, right in the center of Viana. Breakfast buffet was also very good with PLENTY of variety. Everything was fresh and with great Totally recommend and when I come back to Viana it will be my first choice.

Hotel was centrally located short walking distance from downtown. Very clean, spacious rooms and the rain shower was a very nice feature. Breakfast had a good selection. Free parking was a plus as parking in Viana is very Safe was very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place in central location. Bathrooms are somewhat funky and our shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom. But the staff was quick to respond. Free breakfast is good and plenty.

Good option - bring your swim cap...
Room was okay. Nothing special but the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, nobody informed us that all the rooms with double beds were already booked, so we only found out when we returned to the hotel in the evening. Apart from that, friendly and helpful staff. The spa area was nice but had some small annoyances: - In order to use the swimming pool, you need to have a swim cap or buy one for 3€ - not something I bring on my trip. - The Turkish bath didn't work when we were there (it seemed to be turned on but it was not hot) - The shower next to the sauna and Turkish bath only has hot water, so no option to cool off after the sauna (except going back to the dressing room) - The hotel wants people to wear swim caps but doesn't state any sauna rules, so people use the sauna without putting a towel on the wooden benches

junior suite, very strange, on public display to the car park and the road outside, either no light or all revealed, no middle option. and the ensuite toilet door did not reach the floor or the ceiling, also was cloudy (not cloudy enough) glass, too much informaton at every level. breakfast disappointing

Good Hotel, Renovations being done now (May5/14)
Good hotel. Large enough rooms and friendly staff. New fixtures, and renovations continue. Breakfast was basic and could use some improvement. If you're driving, getting to the hotel is tricky, but Viana do Costelo isn't a huge town and a bit of effort solved everything. Parking for free off the street was a bonus. Good stay for the night.

Not too far from centre where all the restaurants are, and a short drive to the mountain top. Hotel may be a little dated but price is also very reasonable. Room was very tidy and clean. WiFi only available at lobby.
