Some of our guest rooms are intentionally compact, which is a design feature that encourages guests to spend more time together in common areas and around the grounds. This works well for corporate retreats or training groups, for example. Please know, we do have other room categories that are more in line with standard hotel rooms and suites, and are always happy to discuss room upgrades if that is of interest.
