They charged us a destination fee of 10$ which made the price 10 over what epedia said it would be! We are definitely discouraged from using expedia if the prices are going to be different! And we wont be staying at that hotel again. The heater made weird clicking noises whenever it turned on in the night.

Hi Rhoda,Thank you for your review.We are sorry your stay was not to your liking and that the heater is a system you are probably not familiar with. It is water heater and when it starts, there are light clicking noises that go on for about 10 seconds when the heat is being called for. Like a furnace, turn the temperature up, the fan kicks in to start the heating process. We understand new noises in any place that aren't familiar to you can be disturbing or annoying. As for the destination tax, like most hotels, the rise in Carbon tax, gas, electrical, etc., recycling costs, we have a destination tax that helps offsets these prices that fluctuate constantly. I always hope the client would come and speak to the staff when there are issues at which time we are able to explain your concerns. Again we thank you for your input and will let Expedia know your concerns as well.Cheers,D

The hotel staff people were very friendly and professional. My room had the second worst hotel mattress I've ever slept on. I slid into the caved-in portion and woke up with a sore back. There is almost no acoustic insulation between rooms. I listened to my neighbor whistling and the plumbing noises were loud to enough to wake me up.

Angie was amazing and accommodating when we had a family emergency and had to leave in the middle of our booking at a moments notice. Recommending this place a first choice in Pincher for all my friends and co workers.

We stayed in chalet #1. It was so clean, so beautiful. We will definitely be going back. We ate at the restaurant there as well, delicious food and a wide variety of options. Very well priced also! Walking distance to subway, gas stations, etc. would definitely recommend checking this place out!

They used so much deodorizer spray or something in the sheets that we had to sleep with the window open, remove the pillow cases and use our clothing over top of the pillows. My family and I have allergies, and are more sensitive than most, but I feel like it was a little much even if you do not have allergies. When we went to check in they did not have our room key on site and we had to wait awhile for it. The rooms have been updated and are nicely decorated. The tub was large and awesome.

Awesome!
Our stay here was perfect. The room was small, clean and cozy. Customer service was outstanding. The restaurant owner was the best. Fed us after a long trip, even tho he was already closed. Great food too!

We were dismayed when we found out there wasn’t a working shower in the room, as one of has great difficulty getting in and out of a bathtub. This type of information should be mentioned on the website, before you book your room.

This was a great place to stay. Loved the big bright windows that looked into a center courtyard. Sat on the great deck in airondeck chairs and shared the view with a momma deer and her two babies. Great kitchen, dining and living room area. Couple of little things, would have appreciated an iron and ironing board and had lots of fun getting onto the very high king size bed. 😀

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was set high up on a wooden platform. It was way too high to get in and out of and every time you moved the boards holding up the bed would make noise. We would not stay there again.

We showed up a little late for check in , Larry was at the desk I told him my name and what not and he seemed confused . It appeared our room was booked before we showed up but it was okay ! He said dont worry youre going to like your upgrade and personally walked us over to a gorgeous 2 bedroom cabin . I know the chances of this happening is slim since we booked a normal king bed in the "motel" portion of this establishment but definately made our stay 500 x better ! It was a beautiful cabin , Larry has great customer service skills reccommending areas that are "must sees" , the area surrounding the place is nice and quiet and super easy to find/get to. Overall I will be returning , cabin or not 😊

The A/C was not installed correctly - hole in the exterior wall and pipes not connected so hot air in and around. Took the whole night to cool the room down! Also, we are in CANADA - put the temp gauge to Celsius for god's sake!

We love staying at the Stardust Motel. Friendly owners and staff. Rooms are comfortable and sparkling clean. The shaded outdoor patio is a great spot to unwind and relax. Convenient location to Waterton and Crowsnest Pass.
