Just staying for a quick night stopover, but fit the bill. Rooms were clean and quiet, free parking in the garage, and walkable to breakfast in the morning.

We got a very ugly room, the service was also bad, we had a 2 2 family room and every day we got only 3 towels, and everything in the room was for 3 people, even though we reported this fact, nothing changed until the end of our stay. There is a lot of mold in the bathroom, holes, lamps falling off. Generally poor. For much less money you can get a better hotel.

We have stayed here before and always find the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel clean, dinner, shopping and parking are available onsite. A quick swim if you have the inclination. What more could you ask for!

Great hotel and staff so friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet with something for everyone. Dinner menu food in restaurant could do with bigger portions but not a big issue. Excellent hotel and would recommend staying here.

This is a fantastic Hotel, a true GEM right smack in the middle of Ireland - from check in (daytime front desk lady was AMAZING, so kind) - such a pleasure to walk into a hotel and feel welcomed. The room was outstanding and so well looked after. Breakfast the next morning was again - 10/10 - lovely surroundings and food was delicious with great variety. One final mention to the lovely lady who checked us in - January 10th @ 1:30ish, after a lot of driving it was such a nice welcome you gave to us... We really appreciated your kindness. I hope we see you again! Thank you, Sheraton, Athlone, for such a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel stay
Myself and my husband had a lovely break away at the Sheraton hotel. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and the bathroom is beautiful. There are a lot of amenities and the hotel is situated right in the centre of Athlone. Their breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. We will definitely be back, in fact we booked another stay with them before we left and cannot wait to return

Very nice
Lovely hotel with lovely helpful staff but the hotel in general was cold. The bath temperature was lukewarm at best and the jacuzzi in the pool area was also lukewarm. Not what you would expect from a Sheraton. Dinner in the restaurant was beautiful

Room was good. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. Food from the bar was terrible. Fish (and chips) was really dry. Gym facilities were old and not well maintained. Pool was fine but was the coldest hot tub I've ever experienced. It was warmer in the pool. Most of the electronic lockers also didn't work. I think I tried 10 before 1 worked. Saw others struggle too

It's a nice chain hotel in a good location. Staff at front desk seemed a little unwelcoming on arrival. The room was nice, but took a trek and multiple elevators to get to. Good for a one-nighter.

The stay was good , very good location close to Athlone Town Centre. Food very good but a little expensive. we were a little upset that the late night bar for those staying in the hotel closed at 1am. i could not even order a drink up to my room

An absolutely fabulous stay! The front desk staff were very helpful in finding our way to the parking with the construction happening out front. Breakfast was delicious. A big room, excellent facilities, and friendly people. Highly recommend! Look forward to coming back.

Superb location
Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Went for a night of socialising in Athlone with friends and this hotel was perfect. Location was within walking distance to all main pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended
