This is review is slightly ingenious. The weather was 10-11 C outside. We provide room radiators, extra electric heater, working fireplace AND electric blankets. Couple said they had personal emergency and had to urgently return home. We cannot get heating exactly right for everyone but had they used any number of heating provided the room could have been up to standard. They asked for refund even though cancelling last minute due to personal emergency. This is is a bit sour grapes. People need to not expect to tie up rooms and cancel after checkin then receive refunds. It is not fair to us or others we turn away.

😂😂😂Get a corporate hotel! :). It is a 370 year old heritage house dude. Nice review though. But you need to stay with new builds.

Yes, I know it is a surprise but we do not offer “free” lodging for guests, children or animals. Shocking as it may be we are a business not a free charity. We try to make a great spot for pets but they do impact other guests, soil floors, require further cleanup etc. Always surprised that people surprised to be charged for a service of lodging by a lodging business. But we prefer to offer a great pet friendly environment but, as with pet hotels, not a free one. We think our beloved pets are worth the extra TLC by discriminating owners rather than being locked in at home or in a kennel
