Staff was rude. I walked in to check in with my family. The staff at the desk was not working until I walked in. Then she plucked a card from the rolodex and started to work. No hello, no good afternoon. She continued to ignore me for 3 minutes as I stared at her. Then she said, "Can I help you?" I was floored. This is the first person that I had contact with and already horrible customer service. The cleaning staff was also vaping in the athletic room next to the pool. She was nasty and angry for no reason. I travel to Wooster for work a lot. I will not be staying here again. Highly disappointed

I am so sorry for your bad experience and have taken the measures to use this as an example of what not to do. Guest comes first. If busy with another task at least acknowledge a guest is at our front desk and say we will be with you in a moment.

Great place to stay in North Wooster
Good base of operations when attending Ohio Light Opera. Close to a Bob Evans and several good restaurants. Also great if visiting the College of Wooster.

We made reservations out of desperation when we couldn’t get a room at the designated hotel nor anywhere else but we plan to return to this Hampton Inn when we return in the fall. The room was clean and well appointed (expected), the location exceeded our expectations, the breakfast was outstanding. But what puts this HI above and beyond was the front desk staff who were knowledgeable, friendly and remembered us, our reservation, our needs snd interests. Sorry the pool wasn’t open but it was for OUR safety not THEIR convenience.

The pool and fitness center was not available! This was not updated in the website when I made my reservations. I was u able to workout on the premises. I had to purchase fitness center passes close by. Big inconvenience and extra cost I did not plan on.

Booked a family staycation for the pool which was broken. Told itd work in the morning but it didn’t. They just turned the ax on in the pool area

So sorry the pool in itself had been repaired with a beautiful diamond coat paint. The heat for the pool was just turned on. The pool needed time to heat.However, the pool is closed again due to safety issues and maintenance.

The Hampton Inn Wooster was a clean, safe hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good. I liked the waffles and didn’t get to try the biscuits and gravy but I was tempted. That said the pool wasn’t available, which was a bit of a bummer. And it was on a 4 lane highway surrounded by chain restaurants and stores. Everything was well taken care of but I think most people would prefer to stay at a place that felt a bit more local.
