Comfortable central b&b
The b&b is quite old fashioned, but comfortable. The lounge is nice with lots of walks guides. The breakfast is fine. The house is very handy for the lovely village with all its amenities, and the parking is excellent. Owner Chris is very welcoming and was very helpful to me when my plans had to change at short notice.

Clean, comfy & a great location
A good cozy room with decent en-suite facilities, including proper sized bath towels. Great base for exploring around the area. Lactose intolerance catered for without any issues.

Good start to Inn Way walk
Stayed here for one night before embarking on the Inn Way long-distance walk. It was a very pleasant experience, with a comfortable room, friendly and humorous service from the owner, and a good breakfast. The only slight drawback was that the rooms which overlooked the main road, as mine did, did not have double-glazing and thus suffered from some traffic noise. This, however, declined at night. Otherwise the location was very convenient, being some 300 yards from the main square. I would recommend it.
