Nice find!
Front desk receptionist went above and beyond to make sure the room was to our liking. Very convenient location. A little trick to find. Parked in front for two days and walked. Breakfast adequate. Nice amenities. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Used my points to pay.

Beautiful hotel in the old town of Zadar. Very convenient for visiting many of the city’s main attractions. Wonderful breakfast! The rooms are lovely.

This is a beautiful and grand hotel that is reminiscent of a bygone era of elegance. The hotel has been updated to showcase the classic features yet afford all the amenities we expect of four start venues. The staff was attentive and friendly and we appreciated all their suggestions for dining and sightseeing. We ended up having dinner at the hotel restaurant which was exceptional and we were entertained by our charming waiter Tomaslav. We didn't find the city of Zadar very interesting in itself, but if you are traveling to Zadar this is definitely your best choice for accommodations. Thank you to the exceptional staff who made our stay so great!

The experience at Hotel Bastion was overall wonderful. We were well cared for my the staff and the location was perfect…out of the dense old town, but close enough to access everything in a few minutes of walking.

We had a fabulous experience in our one night stay at Hotel Bastion! We wished we were there longer!! The rooms were very clean. The garden lounge across the street was such a good spot. The staff was absolutely superb in every way. So kind and friendly and helpful. The only small con was the Garden Lounge was right outside our room & they start playing dance music in the evening and into the night. This was only an issue for me, my partner was not bothered by it at all. And it was only an issue because we went to bed early since we were getting up at 5 am the next morning and I wasn’t able to get good sleep until the music was turned off.

When we arrived, we parked in the wrong place. The front desk woman not only reparked our car for us but brought our luggage in. Incredible service! Hotel is located very close to the heart of the wave organ and rest of old town.

Excellent location for walking to and exploring the old town. The hotel was very comfortable and service was very good. The room was small but beautifully furnished with good air con. Good sized bathroom. Lovely water view from 4th floor.
