Itinerary:

07:30 – Pick-up at your hotel in Dong Hoi

Our car and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Dong Hoi. Begin the scenic journey through the peaceful countryside of Quang Binh.

09:30 – Pick up additional guests in the Phong Nha area

Continue the journey to Command Cave, a significant historical site along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail.

10:30 – Arrive at Commander Cave

Complete entrance procedures and begin a meaningful 180-minute experience along Route 20 – Quyet Thang, once a lifeline for wartime logistics and supply lines.

  • The Legendary K Trail: Trek beneath the ancient forest canopy along a secret, camouflaged trail once used to transport weapons and supplies during the war.

  • Exhibit of Road-Opening Tools: Discover the basic yet ingenious tools used by soldiers and volunteers to carve supply roads through dense jungle.

  • Logistical Support for the Southern Front: Learn how essential goods — from food and medicine to weaponry — were moved south via this dangerous path.

12:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant

Enjoy a hearty lunch with traditional Quang Binh specialities, made from fresh and local ingredients.

13:30 – Explore Dark Cave

Gear up for a fun and adventurous exploration at Dark Cave, one of the park's most exciting and interactive destinations.

Put on your life jacket, headlamp, and helmet.

Swim across the Chay River to enter the cave.

Trek through muddy tunnels and dark chambers, filled with dramatic stalactites and raw natural beauty.

Take a natural mud bath inside the cave – a fun, unique, and skin-softening experience.

After exiting, enjoy optional outdoor activities such as:

  • Ziplining over the river
  • Kayaking along Chay River
  • Water obstacle games (subject to weather conditions)

16:30 – Return to Dong Hoi or Phong Nha
