What you can expect

Immerse yourself in the magical setting of the MUSA Underwater Museum, an extraordinary display of artwork in the waters of the Caribbean Sea. This leisurely snorkelling tour takes you to the outskirts of Isla Mujeres to admire the remarkable artefacts anchored on the bottom.

This spectacular exhibition features the work of British artist Jason deCaires Taylor, a specialist in underwater sculptures. Taylor designed the museum and its numerous marine cement figures to raise awareness and help protect the coral reefs.

Head out to sea from the Aquaworld Marina and make your way to the waters around Isla Mujeres and the site of the museum. Enjoy the view of Cancun's hotel zone as you cross the mighty Nichupté lagoon, and then prepare your mask and dive in to see the unique collection of exhibits on the seabed.

Admire the fascinating sculptures in their exceptional surroundings, many of them surrounded by corals and other marine vegetation. Your inspiring experience at the underwater museum concludes with a boat ride back to the marina.
