"Love this place and stay here whenever in town to visit friends (if there's a room available; in summer it's almost always full!) Friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms, right on the lake, with a swimming pool and kayaks for the lake. Reminds me of a New England style camp I saw in the movies. But it's California, on the largest natural fresh water lake in the state. Thanks for a great visit every time, Skylark~!*"

"Our family including our dog were headed north and decided to stay at the lodge because our 6 year old loves fishing. It was safe, clean, accommodating, pet friendly and the fishing dock is located directly in front of the hotel room so my son could fish with his dad while I relaxed on the porch with coffee. It was a perfect choice. "

"Totally enjoyed our stay! Started with the friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were warm and inviting. This trip was for a family get together and we didn’t have to concern ourselves with the lodging at all. "Everything was great and the property far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful views from the top floor. The kids had a blast swimming. We had a boat at the dock and they loved all of the water sports. Fabulous family time together. Host was very responsive and provided helpful advice. The midget flys were in season but it didn’t stop our fun. You will not regret booking this property."
