Day 01: Cochin to Munnar – Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive at Cochin International Airport by flight or get picked up from your Cochin hotel. Our representative or driver will meet you at your suggested pickup point and assist you with your journey to Munnar.
Embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way. En route, visit a tea and cardamom plantation and learn about local cultivation.
Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel. After some time to freshen up, proceed for Munnar sightseeing, including Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. Explore the sprawling tea gardens and learn about the tea-making process at a tea plantation.
After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar to Periyar (Thekkady)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to Periyar (Thekkady), known for its boat rides, nature walks, and spice plantations.
Upon arrival in Periyar, check in to your hotel. After some time to freshen up, proceed for sightseeing.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake, taking in the scenic surroundings and views of the lake.
In the evening, visit a spice plantation and learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and other spices grown in the region.
Later, enjoy a Kerala Kathakali Show and experience one of Kerala’s traditional art forms at the Kerala Kathakali Centre.
Overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 03: Periyar to Alleppey – Houseboat Cruise
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to Alleppey, known for its backwaters and traditional houseboats.
Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from the crew and settle into your comfortable houseboat accommodation. Begin your leisurely cruise through the picturesque backwaters of Alleppey.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a freshly prepared Kerala-style lunch served on board the houseboat. Relax on the deck as you cruise past green paddy fields, coconut groves, and local villages. Take in the peaceful atmosphere of the backwaters and observe local life along the waterways.
As the sun begins to set, the houseboat will anchor at a suitable location. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee accompanied by traditional snacks while taking in the sunset views over the backwaters.
After dusk, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring Kerala cuisine prepared by the onboard chef.
Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 04: Alleppey to Cochin – Departure
Wake up to the gentle sounds of the surroundings and enjoy a leisurely breakfast served on the houseboat as you continue your cruise.
Take the opportunity to observe local life along the backwaters.
Around 9:00–10:00 AM, disembark from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin.
Upon arrival in Cochin, our driver will assist you with the transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
