Activity itinerary

Villa Olmo (Pass by)

of monumental dimensions, it has a slightly raised central body, punctuated by columns decorated with roundels depicting Plato, Solon, Thales, Socrates and Pythagoras, the work of the Ticino sculptor Francesco Carabelli. It houses the museum dedicated to Alessandro Volta, inventor and citizen of Como

Villa Erba (Pass by)

it is a place of great historical importance, home to the Museum of Luchino Visconti's Rooms, as well as an exhibition and conference centre. Overlooking the lake, it is located in a wonderful centuries-old park and a green area overlooking the lake which once served as a riding track is also part of the property.

Villa D'Este Golf Club (Pass by)

Villa d'Este is considered one of the most beautiful works of architectural art of the sixteenth century. Designed by Pellegrino Pellegrini known as "Il Tibaldi", a famous architect of the time, the villa is immersed in a 10-hectare park with centenary plants where you can admire Pellegrino Pellegrini's Nymphaeum, the Fountain of Hercules and the Temple of Telemachus. In its halls you can admire fascinating works of art, including some from the French school, others from the school of Canova, as well as decorations by Andrea Appiani. Luxury hotel for 150 years

Villa Le Fontanelle (Pass by)

It is a yellow, four-storey building, built in the first half of the 19th century in neoclassical style by the eccentric Lord Charles Currie, a visiting Englishman who, like many, fell in love with Lake Como

Villa Passalacqua (Pass by)

A pearl set on the left bank of the western branch of Lake Como, Villa Passalacqua in Moltrasio is one of the points of reference for luxury hospitality in Como. Born as a private residence of the Odescalchi family, the residence has in fact become a sumptuous hotel after being owned for more than a century by the Lucini Passalacqua family who hosted personalities such as Churchill, Torelli Viollier and Bellini here.

Torno (Pass by)

Torno, a town in the province of Como, is 6 kilometres from the capital and sits on a promontory that juts out over the waters of the Lario, closing the first basin in a picturesque amphitheatre.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como (Pass by)

Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como is an oasis of tranquility, located on the sunny shores of Lake Como. Dating back to the 19th century, Villa Roccabruna is located in the heart of the resort and has been expertly renovated to create a sense of modern Italian elegance with a delicate oriental charm.

Villa Troubetzkoy (Pass by)

built in the mid-nineteenth century, it owes its name to the Russian prince Alexander Troubetzkoy The prince demolished an extensive cliff with dynamite and for this reason he was called the "turbascogli" by the Blevians. The villa has very sloping pitches with characteristic dormer windows and the bold lift, which from the Como road descends to the lake, is an important testimony of "jugendstil" architecture
