Today’s walk offers a short and comparatively easy day, during the journey allowing us to get the full experience of trekking in Nepal. Nowadays you do not need to struggle a steep climb to the large Magar village at Ulleri (1,960m) due to driving by Jeep. The road goes to the Banthanti also but there is no Jeep service abrasive. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, we can see the Langur monkey (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping in the trees and encountering dear and wild goats. Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2,460m), after an hour's walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m), a piece of paradise 360-degree mountains view. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 2 : Hike up Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) view point - 45 minutes, then trek back to Ulleri (1,960m) – 4 to 5 hours, & drive to Pokhara (950m) – 2 to 3 hours
To see magical mountains view as sunrise, you will hike about 45 minutes up to Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning. This viewpoint provides an unobstructed and beautiful view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas with panoramic views of giants Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchere, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, South Annapurna, etc more than ten mountains.
