Balloon ride is offered as an extra activity and not included in price for all options.Balloon flight ticket prices vary according to the season and demand. Optimum weather conditions are needed for hot air balloon flight. All flights can be cancelled at any time by the Civil Aviation Authority. In such a case, there is no right to object. (Decisions taken for flight safety reasons are final and do not change). With its thousands of years of history, Cappadocia is undoubtedly much more than balloon flight. However, if you are still planning to come to Cappadocia just to join a balloon flight, we recommend that you consider that the balloon flight may be cancelled.
If you made your balloon flight ticket reservation with us and your flight was cancelled due to weather conditions, you will receive a full refund.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes while participating in the tour.

Day 1: Flight to Cappadocia and North Cappadocia Day Tour

Istanbul

Your driver will be ready at your Istanbul hotel and transfer you to airport for Cappadocia flight. We can pick you up from many hotels in Istanbul for airport transfer.Istanbul hotel pick up time is between 04.15 am and 6.30 am, depend on exact flight time. When you landed to Cappadocia we will greet you at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport and transfer to Cappadocia. You will meet your tour guide for day tour after Cappadocia airport transfer (Hotel check-in will be at the end of the tour.)

Uchisar Castle

First stop is the fantastic view point of Uchisar Castle where you will receive information about the rich history of Cappadocia and the unique rock formations. (Panaroma only)

Goreme Open-Air Museum

Goreme Open Museum is known to be one of the first monasteries in the history of Christianity. This rock-cut settlement, where education was given to spread Christianity, has been on the UNESCO World History list since 1985 with its frescoed churches and rock living areas.

Avanos

Avanos is one of the oldest settlements of Cappadocia. The pottery art, which is known to have started at the time of the Hittites, still continues and there are many workshops. This visit includes lunch and a short tour along the Kızılırmak.(Red River)

Pasabag is the most obvious place to visit where these landforms are best seen and the common life of humankind and nature.Pasabag, where is also commonly known as Monks Valley. You will have chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys as well as St. Simeon’s monk cell carved into the rock.

Devrent Valley

Devrent Valley is well known as imagination valley where you can take fantastic pictures with animal-shaped rock formations.

Weaving is one of the most important features of Turkish culture. This tradition from Central Asia still continues in Cappadocia. We will make a short visit to a cooperative where world-famous Turkish carpets are produced and learn the intricacies of this thousands of years of art.

Red Valley

Second stop - Red Valley is an area that attracts attention with its red colour in the very centre of Cappadocia. The inside of this valley is suitable for walking and there is a hiking route that lasts approximately 4 km. During this walk in touch with nature you will see fairy-chimneys, local farms, pigeon houses and cave chapels. During the valley walk, it is possible to see the different colour layers of the volcanic eruption millions of years ago in Cappadocia. Hiking finish at Cavusin Old Greek Village.

Love Valley

Pigeon Valley

Sixth stop - Pigeon has been the most important animal after horse for Cappadocia. It is one of the iconic visiting areas of Cappadocia. The people living in nature have used pigeons as fertiliser in agriculture and pigeon eggs while decorating their churches. The most effective way of permanent fresco was to use pigeon eggs, and this discovery changed both their lives and the pigeons' lives. They built large rock-carved pigeon houses, fed them and had a common life. Although there are no fresco artists today, this common life continues.

Cappadocia

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for Istanbul flight. Return domestic flight tickets are included in the tour price.
