Discover two of Ecuador’s most iconic volcanoes on this immersive 2-day journey along the famed Avenue of the Volcanoes. Experience sweeping mountain landscapes, spot rare Andean wildlife, and explore two breathtaking national parks with a knowledgeable local guide.

Day 1 – Antisana Volcano
Depart Quito early for a scenic drive towards Pintag and Antisana National Park. Admire the dramatic lava fields of Antisanilla and towering cliff walls where Andean condors soar overhead. Continue into the high-altitude paramo ecosystem, home to colourful alpine flowers, pristine lakes, and unique birdlife. Enjoy a traditional countryside lunch before settling in for the night.

Day 2 – Cotopaxi Volcano
Travel towards Cotopaxi National Park, where you’ll walk the trails around Limpiopungo Lake, framed by the towering Cotopaxi Volcano. Ascend by vehicle to 14,764 ft (4,500 m), then hike higher to reach the glacier viewpoint. After taking in panoramic views of the Andes, enjoy lunch at a charming mountain lodge before returning to Quito.
