What you can expect

Your kitesurfing experience start at Flyin’ Surf school just 50m from Essaouira stunning beach.

Your dedicated and individual instructors will take the time to brief you about your session and will get you the right kiteboard, Kite and Bar, Harness, wetsuit and Helmet. Once ready, you will be in no time on the beach where the fun will start.

After selecting the best kitesurfing spot for your level and reviewing the safety measures, you will start warming up, followed by your step-by-step tailored Kitesurf lessons with focus on:

  1. Basic kitesurf skills, theory and Kite set-up: All assisted on land.
  2. Kite Safety and Self Rescue: on land & water.
  3. Kite controlling, launching and landing.
  4. Body dragging through the water.
  5. Kite water relaunch.
  6. Transitioning (turning).

Once confortable, advanced lessons will continue with:

  1. Refining kite control to starting to feel more comforable with the kite
  2. Power strokes, the technique to get up on the board
  3. Upwind body drag, to get your board back when lost
  4. etc.
