Discover San Blas on a four-day island-hopping adventure with three nights on three different islands: Isla Aroma, Isla Perro Chico and Yani Island. Enjoy private accommodation, ten included meals and two boat excursions, combining white-sand beaches, turquoise water and time with local Guna hosts.
Stay in a traditional private cabin with a sand floor on Isla Aroma, followed by private rooms on Isla Perro Chico and Yani Island. Bathroom facilities are shared throughout the trip.
DAY 1: ARRIVE ON ISLA AROMA
Meet at the designated Cartí port, or purchase optional return Panama City transport when booking. With this add-on, pickup is approximately 5:00–5:45 AM, followed by a 2.5–3-hour drive through the Guna Yala highlands.
Board a shared boat for an approximately 20-minute crossing to Isla Aroma. Settle into your traditional private cabin with a sand floor and enjoy lunch.
Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing beneath the palms or exploring the shore. Enjoy dinner and your first island night.
DAY 2: ISLA NUINUDUP, NATURAL POOL & PERRO CHICO
After breakfast, check out by 8:00 AM and join a boat excursion to Isla Nuinudup and the Natural Pool, a shallow offshore sandbank where you can stand in the sea when conditions allow.
Continue to Isla Perro Chico for lunch and your second overnight stay. Relax on the beach and explore the waters near its famous shipwreck when snorkelling conditions permit. Enjoy dinner and a private room with shared bathrooms.
DAY 3: DISCOVER YANI ISLAND
After breakfast, check out by 8:00 AM and travel by boat to Yani Island, also known as Yansailadup. Settle into your private room with shared bathrooms and enjoy lunch.
Meet your local Guna hosts. Some may be shy at first, but they are friendly and happy to share their customs when approached with kindness and respect. Depending on their daily activities, you may learn about island life, Guna traditions and mola textile art.
Spend the afternoon swimming or relaxing before dinner and your final island night.
DAY 4: ISLA MISDUP, NATURAL POOL & RETURN
Enjoy breakfast and check out by 8:00 AM. Spend the morning on Yani Island, then enjoy your final included lunch.
After lunch, board a boat to Isla Misdup and the Natural Pool. Enjoy white-sand shores and shallow turquoise water as conditions permit.
The excursion concludes around 3:00 PM, followed by the return boat transfer to the mainland port. With the road transport add-on, arrival in Panama City is around 7:00 PM.
YOUR STAY & MEALS
Accommodation is rustic, with shared bathrooms. 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners are included. Meals commonly feature fish or chicken with local accompaniments. Dietary requests depend on available ingredients. Drinks cost extra.
Local Guna hosts provide island services; this is not a continuously guided tour. Routes, timings and snorkelling depend on weather and sea conditions. Road transport and the Guna Yala entrance fee are excluded from the base package.
