- Light wool is ideal and a warm jacket is usually necessary in the highlands after the sunset. Shoes for walking, or good hiking boots, a thick jumper and a jacket. Remember that the higher you are, the colder the weather will be.

Triple Canopy at Mega Adventure Park Río Blanco Embark on a thrilling adventure at Ecuador's only triple canopy, featuring a Tibetan bridge and a glass bridge spanning the Río Blanco River in the province of Tungurahua at a height of 170 metres. If you're an adrenaline junkie, this is the challenge for you. First up is the Triple Canopy, unique in Ecuador, where 3 people can share the experience, each on their own cable. Next is the Tibetan bridge with 11 obstacles along its course, where you can jump, run, navigate tyres, nets, and dangle over the void. A more intense experience. Lastly, the glass bridge, inaugurated in 2021, is the only one of its kind in the country and the first in Latin America. Located in the province of Pastaza, in Mera canton, the Miramera viewpoint is situated 10 minutes before the city of Puyo on the Baños - Tena road, on the right bank. Situated within the boundaries between the Province of Pastaza and Tungurahua, this viewpoint is named after the canton that welcomes you to the Amazon region, "Mera Canton". You'll recognise the viewpoint by a large sign on the road that says PASTAZA, as well as small signs displaying images of the famous nest. Admission costs $3 per person. The main tourist attraction is El Nido, a large-scale imitation of the oropendola bird's nest from the Amazon, constructed with vines native to the region.
