Day 1: Meet at Mono Meadows Trailhead

Illilouette Creek

You'll meet your guides at the Mono Meadows Trailhead off Glacier Point Road, where you'll kick things off with gear checks and introductions before hitting the trail. The first day is designed to be easy, giving you a chance to ease into the adventure and find your trail legs. As you hike just over 3 miles with a gentle 290 feet of elevation gain, the alpine trail winds through wildflower-dotted meadows and alongside crystal-clear creeks. You'll set up camp near a scenic meadow that's perfect for stargazing, take a refreshing dip in the creek, and cap off the day with a freshly cooked backcountry gourmet dinner.

Day 2: Half Dome Summit Day

  • Accommodation: Little Yosemite Valley (LYV) will be our campsite for the remainder of the tour. Pit toilets are available in LYV.

Half Dome

We'll start the day with breakfast, then head out for our next camp at Little Yosemite Valley. The hike to camp covers 5.1 miles with 1,110 feet of elevation gain, giving you a solid but manageable challenge. Once we arrive, you'll set up camp and have time to relax, nap, or take a refreshing dip in the Merced River. It's the perfect way to recharge before the big afternoon adventure. With day packs in tow, we’ll set off for the summit of Half Dome. Our expert guides come equipped with trail wisdom, crowd-dodging tricks, and insider know-how that transforms this from just another hike into a legendary bucket list experience. The summit trek is 7 miles return with 3,000 feet of elevation gain. Big views, big climbs, big bragging rights.

Day 3: Clouds Rest and hidden plunge pools

  • Accommodation: This will be our last night camping in Little Yosemite Valley.

Cloud's Rest

Start the day with a delicious breakfast prepared by your private backcountry chefs, the perfect fuel for the adventure ahead. After eating, you'll head out for the summit of Clouds Rest, one of Yosemite's most breathtaking viewpoints. Along the way, soak in sweeping 360-degree views of high alpine peaks, Tenaya Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and Tuolumne. The hike covers roughly 10 miles with 4,000 feet of elevation gain.

Little Yosemite Valley

Once back at camp, you’ll have the option to wind down with an easy stroll to a hidden swimming hole—complete with its own natural waterslide for a little splash of fun.

We'll hike along the Panorama Trail, soaking in the scenery one final time. As we arrive back at the trailhead, legs will be tired, spirits will be high, and you'll probably already be dreaming about your next escape into the wild. The final trek covers 8.6 miles with 2,600 feet of elevation gain.
