Starting from Kathmandu, this off-the-beaten-path journey takes you through authentic Gurung villages, terraced farmlands, lush forests, and the foothills of the mighty Manaslu range. It’s a perfect trek for those seeking a genuine Himalayan experience without venturing too high.

    Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Barpak Village (1,920 m)
Begin your adventure with a scenic private jeep drive from Kathmandu to Barpak — a charming hillside village known for its stunning views of Buddha Himal (6,672 m) and traditional Gurung culture. Explore the village and enjoy an authentic Nepali dinner at a local teahouse.

Day 2: Trek from Barpak to Laprak New Village (2,700 m)
Ascend through lush forests and terraced fields to Laprak, a beautiful mountain settlement rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. Meet friendly locals, learn about Gurung traditions, and enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas.

Day 3: Trek from Laprak to Gumda Village (2,100 m)
Follow a peaceful trail connecting two traditional Gurung villages. Gumda offers a warm community atmosphere, rustic charm, and magnificent views of the Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges.

Day 4: Trek from Gumda to Machhakhola (850 m)
Descend gradually towards Machhakhola, where subtropical landscapes replace alpine terrain. In the evening, relax and rejuvenate in the region’s natural hot springs — a well-deserved treat after days of trekking.

Day 5: Drive from Machhakhola to Kathmandu
Enjoy a scenic return drive to Kathmandu, passing along the Budhi Gandaki River and through rural countryside. Arrive in the capital by evening with unforgettable memories of Nepal’s heartland.
