    • We recommend to all our guests to be at the boarding/embarking pontoon/pier 10 min prior to the scheduled departure time, in this manner, we may all board in a organized and calm way. Our boat "Venture" is unique, it is the One you may see in the pictures presented here on the website, this said, it is a 11 meter long, dark blue hull with blue top (Bimini) whaler/sloop type boat. It may be seen clearly and unmistakeably from the pontoon when it is approaching. 5 minutes before the scheduled departure, we arrive with "Venture" and dock in the pontoon only when all the guests confirm their presence in the indicated position (pontoon). The Pontoon is the main in Olhão, it is the same used by the ferry boats, it is locally know as "pier/pontoon T" (in Portuguese "caís T"). The boat will dock on the end of that pier/pontoon furthest to the left side (when you face the sea or south). Contact by phone or Whatsapp directly with the skipper is possible at all times to help guests get to us.

What you can expect

Join us onboard “Venture” our unique boat allows us to explore the Ria Formosa Natural Park like no other, in a stable, comfortable, quiet manner. Onboard “Venture” everything was carefully thought for your safety and comfort, there is a generous sunshade, a WC with dressing room and space to store safely your belongings, also comfortable seating and space to enjoy the algarvian sun (solarium), plus, getting in and off the boat is safe and accessible to all ages, even from the water to the boat, so everyone may enjoy a swim if they wish so. There is plenty of entertainment and knowledge for the young ones to enjoy. Nothing was overlooked, so you don't have to worry about the comfort, safety and enjoyment of your friends and loved ones.

In this 6 hours tour through the Ria Formosa natural park we will have time to really live and absorb the good energy of the place, and naturally, to taste it's delicacies at “lunchtime” in Culatra Village or Hangares village where many local food boots are available to enjoy the local gastronomy based on fresh seafood. But, if you prefer to skip the “nurturing/feeding process” you may always enjoy the 2 hours of free time to explore the Village or venture into the desert sand dunes in a walk to, literally, the other side, of the island where you will discover a 7 km desert paradise beach just for you, with warm and criystal clear waters. The concept is to get out of the spinning wheel that is the everyday life and enjoy what this natural park has to offer, in your time at your own rhythm, that is why all our Tours are private or for small groups up till 18 people normally all the same language. In this manner I can guarantee the best service and guidance. We will welcome you aboard at Olhão main pier (cais T) where we board “Venture” to discover the Ria Formosa Natural Park and it's wonder's, the natural richness and beauty. This is a guided an interactive tour in which I will not only entertain you, but also elucidate you about the historical and cultural significance of the natural park for the people that call this place home. Also show you and tell you about this ecosystem and it's importance. The wilderness, particularly the birds that are one of the reasons why this is considered a natural park. Binoculars will be provided for each visitor as well as guidebooks in 3 languages so you may in your terms understand this paradise. There is also the opportunity to visit the villages on the islands. In the summer period if the weather conditions allow there is also the possibility for a swim/snorkelling in a desert island/beach with crystal clear waters. In Spring/Summer we provide snorkelling apparatus so you may have the chance to observe the famous sea horses and all the other marine life present in this ecosystem, like clams, octopuses, fish, crabs and many others
