At 7:30am, you will depart Entebbe and begin your journey west towards Kibale National Park, Uganda’s primate capital and one of its most beautiful rainforest regions. As you travel, the landscapes gradually change from lively towns to rural countryside and greener highlands as you approach the Fort Portal area. A stop will be made along the way for lunch and a short break before continuing into the Kibale region, where tea plantations, banana farms, and forest edges begin to define the scenery. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by nature as you prepare for the chimpanzee tracking experience the following day. Drive time: Entebbe → Kibale area (approx. 5.5–7.5 hours,)

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
