Temple of Leah is one of the top cultural and historical sites worth adding to your itinerary in Cebu City. Many call the temple the “Taj Mahal” of Cebu because it is also a mausoleum for a great love that never ends, even after death. Teodorico Soriano Adarna had the Temple of Leah built for his late wife, Leah Albino-Adarna. Their marriage lasted for more than five decades. Teodorico and Leah are the grandparents of Ellen Adarna, a famous actress in the Philippines. Located in Barangay Busay, the Temple of Leah began construction in 2012. There are around 24 different chambers in the complex; these contain a library, art gallery, bar and museum, just to name a few. You will also see statues of lions, angels and gladiators as you explore. You will see stone steps that lead to the portico and then the 10-foot high statue of Leah found near the lobby.

Sirao Garden in the Philippines has recently caught a lot of attention from tourists and is a paradise for all garden lovers. People from all over the world are appreciating this beautiful flower garden in Cebu city. Situated in Barangay Sirao, this flower farm is reminiscent of Amsterdam, with all sorts of flowers neatly arranged and in various colours. It was given the moniker “Little Amsterdam of Cebu” because of this. Instead of tulips, the garden’s main feature is celosia flowers or cockscombs, or wool flowers. Other than these, visitors will also find sunflowers and some hyacinths in different sections. As you explore the garden, you will see replicas of Amsterdam’s famous structures and windmills, kitschy houses, and décor that look like toys. The complex fits the description of an “instagrammable” destination with its unique layout and colourful photo locations.

After the Tour you will be in Pier 1 to ride a ferry for Bohol. Ferry schedule either 4pm to 6pm which can fit the time of your arrival in the port but usually we get the 5pm ferry so that 7pm arrival in Bohol.

Optional Spot: Bohol Blood Compact Site is located in Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. This particular site was made in honour of a very important event in the Philippine history done between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol. This Sikatuna-Legaspi blood compact is considered as the First Treaty of Friendship between two different races, religions, cultures and civilisations. It was a treaty of friendship based on respect and equality. This event is commonly known as “Sandugo”. The Bohol Blood Compactsculpture was made by the National Artist, Napoleon Abueva, a Boholano himself. It is placed on an open and raised dais portraying five (5) life-sized images of men gathered around a table with Legazpi and Sikatuna supposedly making a toast. Standing on the dais, visitors are treated to a good view of the Bohol Sea and the contour of that particular side of the island of Bohol.

The Church of Immaculada Concepcion in Baclayon is considered to be one of the oldest in the Philippines. Construction began in 1717 where some 200 native forced labourers (obras pias) cut and dragged coral blocks from the sea, using only bamboos in moving and lifting the stones in position. Millions of white eggs were said to have been used as cement. The current building was completed in 1727. In the 19th century, the Augustinian Recollects added a new facade- pictured here- and a number of stone buildings that now surround the church. Old broken glasses no longer can be replaced. The coloured panes locally available now are different- pattern is limited only to the basic quatrefoil "florentine" patterns and colour choices are only 3: amber, green and blue. The original ones which date back to 16th century are thicker and deeper in colour.

In Canapnapan, a barangay of Corella, you can see saucer-eyed tarsiers in the wild at the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary. Over 100 of these territorial primates hang out in the immediate vicinity of the centre, though only eight are in the viewing area. The guides will bring you right to them via a short jungle trail; no flash photography is permitted. The visitors centre includes good information boards and the whole forested sanctuary is well managed and a pleasure to visit. The simultaneously crazy and cuddly looking tarsier can fit in the palm of your hand yet leap 5m, rotate its head almost 360 degrees and move its ears in the direction of sound. It has huge imploring eyes, 150 times bigger than a human's in relation to its body size. The tarsier is not only one of the world's smallest primates and the oldest surviving member of the primate group at 45 million years old, it is also an endangered species.

Take the Loboc River Cruise and enjoy lunch on a floating diner while you listen to the relaxing splash of the water and the welcoming songs of Boholanos. This river in Bohol is known to be one of the cleanest rivers in the country. Tourists take an hour-long cruise along the river while enjoying food, drinks and music. Local musicians play native and novelty music. There are days when guests can request songs, too. The cruise will stop in the middle of the river for souvenir shopping and some native dancing. Once the cruise ends, you will see the refreshing sight of the Loboc Falls. Those who wish to can take a quick dip into the waters. If you are not prepared for swimming, though, you can take photos of the very scenic Loboc River, everyone’s favourite hobby.

The Bohol Forest is a man-made mahogany forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Before and after this man-made forest are the naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar which are thick with a kaleidoscope of green foliage, different species of trees and giant ferns lining the road. The man-made forest stands out because of the uniformity in height of the big trees, the spread of its branches, thickness and design of leaves. Seedlings abound around the older trees. Trunks, some thick and others just a few months old, grow resplendently straight up towards the sky which is obscured by the branches and the thick leaves.

Optional Spot: Simply Butterflies Conservation Centre is the first butterfly livelihood breeding and conservation programme in Bohol. Its main goal is to protect and strengthen the natural environment of the butterflies through plant research, breeding and releasing. Aiming to raise the butterfly population in Bohol, the Centre also seeks ways and means to bring money into the local economy using butterflies and butterfly by-products. Local town folks have been taught how to breed butterflies and at present, a community of paid breeders has been formed. Likewise, the Centre is into the study, research, and preservation of host plants which are dwindling due to illegal poaching and deforestation. The breeding of common butterflies for export plus their by-products help to fund host-plant research, development and the breeding of rare butterflies. Only hand bred sources, not those captured from the wild, are used by the centre to protect the butterfly population.

The Chocolate Hills are probably Bohol's most famous tourist attraction. They look like giant mole hills, or as some say, women's breasts, and remind us of the hills in a small child's drawing. Most people who first see pictures of this landscape can hardly believe that these hills are not a man-made artefact. However, this idea is quickly abandoned, as the effort would surely surpass the construction of the pyramids in Egypt. The chocolate hills consist of are no less than 1268 hills (some claim this to be the exact number). They are very uniform in shape and mostly between 30 and 50 metres high. They are covered with grass, which, at the end of the dry season, turns chocolate brown. From this colour, the hills derive their name. At other times, the hills are green, and the association may be a bit difficult to make.

Optional Spot: The Philippines' largest captive reticulated python (Python reticulatus) or baksan in the native language, is found in Bohol. Prony, a female baksan named after its owner Sofronio Salibay, measures 27 feet (8.23 metres) and weighs more than 300 kg according to a Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) estimate. If the measurement is indeed true, Prony is longer than Fluffy, current titleholder of Guinness Records 2011's longest captive snake. Fluffy, also a reticulated python, lives in Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio, USA. When measured in 2009, she was found to be over 24 feet (7.23 metres) long. Prony was captured in 1996 in Upper Sta Filomena in the town of Albur, where she also lives for more than a decade. Prony lived in an animal sanctuary built by the tripartite partnership of PepsiCo, Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc and the Municipal Tourism Council of Alburquerque (Albur's full name).

The boatmen will take you to the spot where dolphins swim around the area. About 20 - 30 minutes and you'll reach the destination. Once you get close to the dolphins, the engine of the boat will be turned off, so the dolphins won't be driven away. Of course, you can't swim with them, they're too fast. Some dolphins even jumped out of the water. It was really amazing to see dolphins swimming in the wild. The boatman will swim and took picture to the guest.

Last stop on the tour is at "Puntod" Island, also know as Virgin Island. It is a small uninhabited crescent shaped island. From far, you might see some people that looked like walking in the water because the island also submerge a little in the water. After some pictures and swimming, back to Alona Beach in Panglao

Isola di Francesco, a mere ten-minute boat ride from Panglao proper, is a great destination for those who wish to retreat, reflect, and pray in harmony with the lapping of the waves and the chirping of the island’s resident birds. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the welcoming arms of a huge statue of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. A chapel was opened in the island last year and there’s a holy mass said every 23rd day of the month. In March, Isola opened another avenue for people to get in touch with the Creator – Isola di Francesco’s Nature’s Art Museum. And for every item that is being displayed in the museum, there is only one rule. “Everything must be made by God. You can clean, frame, and arrange to make it presentable; but you cannot alter anything, even the colour must be original,” explains Isola owner and utmost St. Pio devotee, Mr. Ramon Rodriguez. And to everyone’s amazement, the museum is filled with items that speak of the grandeur of God and His Creation.

Tour A is most beloved because it will bring you to see not one but two of three beautiful lagoons located around Miniloc Island: either Small Lagoon or Big Lagoon, and Secret Lagoon. Swimming and snorkelling there is just amazing. Clear water, numerous fishes… you name it! Tour A will then take you to Shimizu island, where you can snorkel and see corals and/or relax on the white sand beach. This is also where, most of the time, your boat will stop for lunch. With its great limestone cliffs covered with vegetation, a representative of the geological beauty of El Nido. At the end of the day, the tour will stop of 7 Commando Beach, which has a long white sand beach, and where you can also find a little bar that will serve you refreshing drinks. It’s no secret that El Nido has been blessed with more than its fair share of postcard perfect scenic locations. From majestic limestone formation jutting out from crystal clear turquoise seas to powdery white sandy beaches along its coastlines, not to mention the sheer diversity of marine wildlife in its perfectly hued oceans, its no wonder foreign publications have declared it the best beach and island destination in the Philippines. As soon as your boat docks near the lagoon, your guide will direct you to a small opening hidden between a towering wall of limestone rocks by the seashore. It’s easy to miss this secret spot, and most people wonder if its possible to crawl through this tiny hole. But once you get through it, you’ll be greeted by an unusual sight: a massive limestone rock formation surrounding a small body of water right in the middle of it.

Shimizu Island is one of the numerous ones dotting El Nido’s Bacuit Bay. This small island had become a popular spot for snorkelling because of its colourful marine life. It’s part of the Tour A island-hopping package and an alternative stopover spot for lunch, so it can get a bit crowded here during midday. The Japanese-sounding name makes one wonder about the island’s origin. According to guides and boatmen, a group of scuba divers explored the waters of El Nido decades ago, and one of them didn’t make it back from a deep underwater tunnel. Days were spent searching for the diver’s body until it was found on an island with imposing rock formations and fine white sand. The deceased diver’s surname was Shimizu, and the island was later named after him.

Below the dramatic El Nido limestone cliffs is a line of swaying coconut trees and a long stretch of fine white sand that has become 7 Commandos Beach’s familiar face. The beach is part of El Nido’s Tour A island-hopping option, including Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon. One can’t help but become intrigued by how the beach got its name. One storey says that during World War II, seven soldiers got stranded here. Another says that Seven Commando was the name of a massive fishing vessel that got left in El Nido waters, and the passengers decided to make this island their home. They stayed here for three months, and when their boat was finally repaired, they sailed back home. Later on, the locals found a colossal stone carved with the words “Seven Commando.”

This is the Departure time, we prefer you to be back in Puerto Princesa since they have lots of flights here than in El nido. But you need to ride again in the van.
