We traveled a great distance (24 hrs flying) to visit the Alhambra. Despite numerous emails confirming the tour details, the morning of our tour, we learned the operator did not secure the requested number of tickets so my husband was unable to go inside. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Better to skip the guided tours, book the self-paced tour, and audio guide instead. Use only the official Alhambra website to book your tickets. You will be less rushed and can enjoy the sights. This is the only destination I’ve traveled to that requires many weeks/months advance so plan accordingly.

Absolutely wonderful and informative tour of the Alhambra. Our guide, Jana, was one of the best guides I've had while traveling! She clearly cared about our experience and was able to give tips on how to make the best of our visit.

I’m very dissapointed with Viator. On 25th December 2024 I bought and paid 4 tickets to Alhambra & Nasrid Palaces skip the line & local guide for 2nd Januari 2025, at 14.30pm. We were on the holiday to Spain with a very tide schedule, so on the 2nd January 2025 took a morning flight from Madrid to Granada just to visit Al Hambra at 14.30. The the 3rd January 2025 morning we returned back to Madrid. We were very dissappointed on the 2nd January 2025 morning when we already arrived in Granada, I received a message from the operator that the 4 tickets are unavailable.. so they offering me either I want to rechedule to 3rd January 2025 or refund the 4 tickets. Of course we could not visit on the 3rd January 2025, because at 08.00am we should returned back to Madrid. So, the cancellation by Avitor/its operator was really ruined our holiday. We bought 4 flight tickets from Madrid to Granada just to visit Al Hambra, and it became unworthed because the Al Hambra’s tickets were cancelled just few hours before our schedule times. If we knew that we could not get the Al Hambra tickets, then we will not buy the hotel voucher and fight’s tickets. So, we spent lots of money for nothing. REALLY DISSAPOINTED WITH VIATOR/ITS OPERATOR. I WILL NEVER RECOMMENDED IT. REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL & IRRESPONSIBLE.
