What you can expect

  • Discover one of Kraków’s most fascinating hidden attractions—located directly beneath the Main Market Square. With skip-the-line access, explore an immersive archaeological site where layers of history reveal how the city functioned centuries ago.

Descend below the Main Market Square into Kraków’s underground archaeological reserve. With a licensed local guide, walk through atmospheric corridors revealing medieval streets, trading booths, and commercial relics.

Hear stories of merchants, craftsmen, and travellers who once shaped this thriving market. Modern multimedia installations—sound effects, projections, and holograms—recreate the sights and sounds of the Middle Ages, bringing the city’s past vividly to life.

When you return to the surface, landmarks such as St. Mary’s Basilica and the Cloth Hall will feel entirely transformed—you will have just walked through over 700 years of history hidden beneath the cobblestones.
